Today’s Cards, Runes, and Numerology
I drew The Star (17), King of Cups, and Temperance (14) along with Gebo (7) and Rubeus for today’s influences. I like when I draw cards that terminate and both cards from the Major Arcana seem like a good way to do encapsulate the energy.

The overall numerology is four, which I don’t remember saying, which indicates structural or foundational issues. Beginning with The Star, we’re looking at an eight energy involving unity consciousness, harmony, and leadership, along with bright prospects and dreams fulfilled. She’s the Blessed Conduit, a reflection of the as above so below energetic channel between Spirit and form.
Next, we have the King of Cups, my least favorite King in the Court. He can be compassionate, but he can also be passive-aggressive in his interactions with others. His presence may indicate how we express authority in our lives. Is it informed by Spirit as suggested by The Star?

Finally, we have Temperance, card fourteen from the Major Arcana that balances will with emotions, maintaining the alchemical balance in our lives. Temperance continues not only the same balanced experience from The Star but also reinforces the notion of something new on the horizon.
Gebo, the 7th rune from the Elder Futhark, continues the balanced energy exchange of the cards with Spirit informing in all directions, within and without, above and below. Rubeus, our geomantic influence cautions against our interactions getting in the way of progress. Rubeus is comprised of passive influences for Fire, Water, and Earth and an active influence for Air suggesting assertion or aggressive responses may arise, and without the other elemental influences there to balance, conflict can result.

So, it appears that inner balance is at the heart of today’s reading. We should mind how we communicate with others and avoid any pushiness or single-mindedness. Compassion and understanding are favored particularly if we’re in positions of authority over others. The future is positive assuming Spirit informs our path.
