Weekly Rune and Moon for 1 – 7 September 2019

I decided not to use a significator for this week’s reading given that the geomancy reading for the month has posted. As always, the seven-rune spread reads from left to right beginning with Sunday. A larger view of the spread appears below:

Sunday, 1 September

• Rune – Sowilo
• Numerology – 1
• Human Design/I Ching Moon: Gate 18 Line 2 Terminal Disease – irreversible damage has occurred.
• Astro Moon Position – Libra – social, balanced, partnership-oriented

Well, Sunday is an interesting day. We have Sowilo to usher in Higher Self energies, self-confidence, and new beginnings with the numerology of one. However, some damage has been done which appears irreversible and it may involve a close relationship, either with a family member, close friend, or co-worker.

Now, it’s possible that whatever caused the damage may indeed be so great that no resolution can be found. But given that Sowilo is a rune of the Higher Self and healing, a new direction may be possible.

Monday, 2 September

• Numerology – 2
• Human Design/I Ching Moon: Gate 57 Line 6 Utilization – clarity doesn’t necessarily result in a positive outcome.
• Astro Moon Position – Libra until 4:35 PM PDT when it moves into Scorpio – emotional, secretive, manipulative, focused

With Scorpio’s influence today, manipulation may occur. If this is a continuation from Sunday, we need to guard against any deception of our own in interactions with others today. The numerology of two indicates both a choice and causation; however, the presence of Thurisaz suggests a breakthrough, so if this is from Sunday, stay positive and focused on the truth. And it may be best to time any conversations while Libra is still in effect.

• Human Design/I Ching Moon: Gate 28 Line 3 Adventurism – caution when taking risks
• Astro Moon Position – Scorpio all day – emotional, secretive, manipulative, focused

We may still need to exercise caution in our interactions with others today. The Moon is still transiting through Scorpio today and emotions may still be in flux. Isa suggests that we go within to gain insight while the Human Design chart suggests we take a more risk-averse attitude particularly if we’re still trying to resolve difficulties with someone else. This is reinforced by the three numerology and the need for mind/body/spirit balance.

• Human Design/I Ching Moon: Gate 1 Line 6 Objectivity – clarity drives the creative experience
• Astro Moon Position – Scorpio until 8:09 PM PDT when it moves into Sagittarius – generous, creative, travel-oriented, flagrant, driven

Balanced energy exchange comes into play today with Gebo, the seventh rune of the Elder Futhark. A four numerology suggests foundational issues are in focus today with objectivity leading to realistic solutions. Emotional and intense Scorpio still influences, however, until later this evening when the Moon transits into Sagittarius.

• Human Design/I Ching Moon: Gate 34 Line 3 Machismo inner power that can manifest negatively

As above so below energies are felt with Eiwhaz today as Spirit balances form. A five numerology suggests change, but protection is inferred as well as it also symbolizes the pentagram. The leadership quality of the Sagittarius influence may invoke Spirit, but if the Human Design chart is any indication, it may instead invoke ego, so caution should be taken today to keep our will aligned with Spirit.

• Human Design/I Ching Moon: Gate 5 Line 5 Joy alignment in the flow of life
• Astro Moon Position – Sagittarius – generous, creative, travel-oriented, flagrant, driven

We experience the sudden expansion of creativity with Inguz, the seed, reinforced by Joy, the Moon’s influence from today’s Human Design chart. The day flows, in part brought on by the Sagittarius influence of generosity and drive. But it also flows with the harmonious influence of today’s six numerology. Six incorporates the idea of the greater aspect of self, so it positively influences harmony with others.

• Human Design/I Ching Moon: Gate 11 Line 6 Adaptability suggesting change is part of the natural flow, nothing is fixed
• Astro Moon Position – Sagittarius until 3:38 AM PDT when it moves into Capricorn – discipline, responsible, ordered.

We’re continuing Friday’s flow but today it’s derived from Ansuz, also known as Odin’s rune, the rune of clarity and communication with Spirit. A seven numerology describes the balance between dark and light, masculine and feminine polarity, as well as between Spirit and ego/form. With Adaptability in play from today’s Human Design Moon influences, change is inevitable and should be embraced as such. And as the Moon travels into Capricorn in the afternoon, a change in energetic flow may be experienced to one that is more disciplined. In other words, playtime is over and it’s back to work!

Lastly…

It seems like we start off dealing with conflict this week but end in a more creative and aligned place. Whether this transition involves the conflicted relationship is hard to say at this point, but the energy over the week appears to provide the space for resolution if we don’t get in the way ultimately sabotaging our efforts.

The other thing to keep in mind here is that deceptive energy is also influencing and the conflict may actually originate with the other individual(s). It’s best, in that case, to remain in an observer role if only in an effort to gain clarity.
