Weekly Rune & Moon for 3-9 November 2019

As a new week begins, let’s take a look at the upcoming influences. Caput Draconis is the overall geomancy significator suggesting a week where we experience new beginnings. As always, I’m looking at each day’s numerology, Elder Futhark rune, and Moon information derived from both traditional astrology and Human Design’s use of the I Ching. The runes appear below.

Sunday, 3 November

• Numerology – 3 – catalyst, triple aspects, mind/body/spirit, imagination, the middle, virtue, past/present/future; Hecate, triangle, Norns of Fate, Jupiter, Capricorn
• Day – Sunday is a day governed by the Sun reflecting success, joy, protection, power, confidence, and health
• Rune – Algiz – Air/Fire/Water focusing into Earth, elk, protection, BiFrost Bridge between realms, higher consciousness, divinity
• Human Design (I Ching) Moon position – Gate 61 Line 4 Research describing the need and focus to discover inner truth.
• Astro Moon Position – Aquarius at 3:20 AM PST suggesting a focus on higher learning, philosophy, and interactions with others. Original thinking is favored.

Although it’s nice to rest on Sunday, in truth, it’s a powerful and dynamic day and the three numerology today reinforces that idea. Algiz provides a Spirit focus and with the Moon in Aquarius, we might feel pulled toward philosophical or metaphysical pursuits. Spend the day in meditation and discover your inner truth.

Monday, 4 November

Monday is typically associated with feminine energies, but today, we see a decidedly masculine influence with the resonance of a four numerology and Tiwaz, the spiritual warrior within. Tiwaz and the Moon’s position on the Human Design chart both signal that today we may need to accept change that may not exactly suit our needs and that sacrifice may be necessary. The Moon in open-minded Aquarius may provide much-needed flexibility today.

Tuesday, 5 November

• Astro Moon position – Pisces at 3:08 PM PST – sensitive, reserved, intuitive, artistic, empathic, need to set energetic boundaries

Fehu describes sending energy found in magick but today it feels more like energy that’s vampiric in nature. Given that the Moon moves in empathic Pisces this afternoon, empaths may be feeling somewhat overwhelmed, particularly if vampiric energy is focusing in on them. Remember that the energy vampire doesn’t need to be in your personal orbit for his/her energy to reach you. Begin the day by seeking a still point and establish an energetic shield. That way, when the Moon moves into Pisces in the afternoon, you’ll be ready for any uncomfortable energies you may experience. Engage the optimist within and know you are safe from harm.

Wednesday, 6 November

• Astro Moon position – Pisces – sensitive, reserved, intuitive, artistic, empathic, need to set energetic boundaries with others.

If Tuesday felt energetically chaotic, Wednesday’s influences may bring a sense of harmony to the day. We have a numerology of six for the day that engages Higher Self vision, the rune Wunjo fostering both harmony and peace, and the Moon aligned and cooperative which should relieve any empathic concerns from yesterday. Focus on artistic pursuits and enjoy the day!

Thursday, 7 November

• Human Design (I Ching) Moon position – Gate 63 Line 1 Composure describes the ability to remain composed amid achievement with reduced self-esteem as a possible result.
• Astro Moon position – Pisces – sensitive, reserved, intuitive, artistic, empathic, need to set energetic boundaries with others.

With Isa’s Norn presence, Thursday is a day to seek balance, both within and without. A numerology of seven reinforces this by acknowledging that the balance between dark and light, ego and Spirit, is a prerequisite for inner peace and alignment. The Moon’s position on the Human Design chart is signaling that we may have to settle for something less than we wish with self-esteem possibly suffering in the process. Allow those feelings to pass and focus on realignment of boundaries with others.

Friday, 8 November

Venus coupled with the Moon in Aries may foster spontaneity surrounding relationships today. However, this may not involve an established relationship, and it’s possible we may experience help from an unexpected source today. Jera indicates give and take as well as energetic alignment with others, so if unexpected help appears, don’t be reluctant to take what’s offered.

Saturday, 9 November

• Day – Saturday is governed by Saturn and involves binding, slowing, and resistance

• Human Design (I Ching) Moon position – Gate 17 Line 3 Understanding describes understanding the greater picture even when the outcome doesn’t meet our own needs.
• Astro Moon position – Aries – spontaneous, direct, impulsive, friendly, boundary issues.

As always, Saturn slows things down on Saturday allowing us to take stock of the week’s events. A nine energy today describes completion and endings, yet a sense of new beginnings exists with catalytic Thurisaz and the Moon in Aries. If our experiences over the week didn’t rise to our expectations the understanding gained from the Moon’s position in the Human Design chart suggests that we’re aware of a greater perspective in play.

Overall Thoughts

When we consider the week through the lens of new beginnings from our significator Caput Draconis, this may center on our expectations surrounding others. It’s not uncommon for the Human Design Moon information to drive the week’s influences, and this week is no different.

Over the course of the week, we seek awareness and inner truth while experiencing feelings of limitation, particularly regarding established relationships. Friends or family we may have relied upon may not be there for us when we need them and help may arise from an unexpected source.

Finally, we may need to accept change that doesn’t necessarily suit our needs calling for an understanding of the greater picture, requiring a perspective found in Spirit instead of ego.
