Sunday Earth Magic

 

I love the beginning of a new year. I love thinking about all the things I want to do out in the garden, and all the new spaces I can create now that the deer are fenced out. It’s fascinating to watch them hover about..outside the property instead of sleeping on my deck, and eating my flowers, garden, and trees. I guess you could say that I get the cheapest of thrills watching them. Today’s Earth Magic Oracle spread focuses on how we embrace new beginnings. The deer, however, are on their own.

Unexpected events happen in our lives leaving us wondering what on earth is going on. But at some point, we must move past the unpleasantness of life and begin anew. With this Libra Moon in her waning phase, we can use that energy to find balance and let go of what no longer serves us.

Today’s Earth Magic landscape spread aptly begins with the synergy of the Green Man. The Green Man reminds us to take our cues from the balanced synergy of Gaia, of Nature, as She maintains the delicate, yet awe-inspiring balance of life on earth. Synergy is the result of cooperative effort or interaction, a balance of energies that create something more than exists separately. Stay in the flow, in synergistic resonance with Source Energy and creative energies will flow unimpeded.

As we cast off the old, we embrace the Dawn of new beginnings. A new cycle has begun, blending lessons of the past with new experiences ahead. Momentum is ours if we choose, and we look forward to bringing new ideas to fruition.

The spread ends with a final counsel to stand in our own power, in our own strength. The Mountain endures, weathering the elements, embracing each new day with strength and resilience. Its presence is undeniable, as is our own.

We embrace that same quiet certitude when we stay in alignment with our own Source Energy, allowing that synergistic balance which emerges from non-resistance to guide our experiences here. As a new cycle begins, we allow that synergy to work for us, increasing our creative momentum, taking on whatever lies ahead. Like the majesty of the Mountain, we too possess that same strength as we stand in our own centered power, extending blessings to all.
