Why Can’t This Man Shut The Hell Up Already?

Fair warning: some mild vulgarity ahead…

Here we go again. Donald is opening his mouth and complete bullshit is coming out. And he’s evidently convinced the Surgeon General to do the same. At least it appears that the CDC isn’t falling for this crap and are telling us the truth.

I’ve never seen anything like this in my sixty-two years. Oh, there has always been drama in government with this or that scandal but the level of out-right lying that is going on now is appalling. How does the President of the United States overrule advising seniors to avoid air travel right now?

My husband and I were both ill earlier this year. We had spent our vacation at a resort close to home in December because we have chickens and we don’t have anyone to take care of them while we’re gone and shortly after returning home, my husband developed respiratory and other symptoms. Within a few days, I developed similar symptoms.

It was likely a mild case of the flu but we don’t really know. I include herbal teas and tinctures in our daily routine and they helped immensely in relieving symptoms and we got through the experience without any problems. That said, the coronavirus appears to be something far worse than the typical flu. And for the President of these United States to suggest people are safe in crowded areas like rallies or to refuse to allow the recommendation for seniors to avoid air travel is an act so irresponsible that Congress should remove him immediately from office.

Oh…that’s right…we tried that already and Republican Senators thought refusing to convict and remove him from office was the right thing to do.

Self-dealing idiots…all.

Donald has foolishly indicated that he doesn’t want to ruin his numbers by bringing cruise ship passengers into the country. Shortsighted and cruel like always, this isn’t about numbers but the truth that we all need to survive whatever this is.

He toured the devastation in Tennessee and was apparently interested in a story about a boy in the storm but showed no empathy when he learned that his family had all perished. None. Something has shortcircuited in him or perhaps it was never there, to begin with. And instead of telling him to shut the hell up already, Republicans are faithfully falling in line to further promote his deception.

They have no shame, these pathetic people. Truth matters nothing to them, only craven interests and protection from lord knows what. Because otherwise, how could any of them lack the fundamental humanity to follow someone like this and potentially hurt everyone else in the process?

Or worse.

I don’t know about the rest of you, but this shitshow needs to end and end now before Donald kills all of us. Republican Senators need to sit him down and tell him that he’s done. No matter what it costs them. No matter what he knows about them. No matter what he and his compadres do to them. No matter what truth comes out. No matter the consequences.

For the first time in their lives, do something for the country that actually defends us. That actually preserves our way of life instead of trying to tear it all down. They may have found a willing executioner in Donald Trump, but it’s happening with their support and approval. And it’s time the whole mess ended. No matter what it costs them in the end.

Every single one of these people has ruined their reputations, again, assuming they ever had one. And I really don’t care, do u?
