A Little Numerology
I find numerology fascinating. I love when numbers show a synchronicity. I was playing around with our birthdays to see if anything stood out. Typically numbers are combined using addition to reduce them down to a single number. But when you’re trying to discover what challenges someone will face, subtraction is used. Since a family is a particularly interesting challenge, I decided to limit this to only the actual birth days of my husband, myself, and our two sons to see what came up. I’m sure any self-respecting numerologist is grabbing a sedative at this point, while I get creative, other wise known as making it up as I go along.
The resulting numbers reduced down to the following:
Dad 1 Mom 4
Son 1 6 Son 2 9
Sacred geometry is the expression of life itself. I wondered if all of this could be expressed as a Merkaba. So, I began thinking about how we focus in to creation, and how the triangle pointing downward would fit that. Physical form would then be represented by the triangle pointing upward. The focal point of creation, each one of us, would sit in the middle. Just think about it..all of that pure, loving Source Energy, focusing in to creative physical form. Since we’re all individual expressions of Source, it stands to reason that energies surrounding our exact day, time and location of birth would be of influence. Numerology helps us understand this process by establishing meanings for these values. Each number has its own vibration and influences our direction not only when we’re born, but as we continue in our lives.
I continued the process of subtraction to discover some additional numbers of relevance in our collective focus into creation. A family is about relationships. I began comparing our birth days and found an interesting synchronicity. When I subtracted Mom from Dad, 3 was the result. The same happened when I subtracted Son 2 from Son 1. Another 3.
Then I continued the process by subtracting both sons from Dad and both sons from Mom.
Dad ~ Son 1 5 Mom ~ Son 1 2
Dad ~ Son 2 8 Mom ~ Son 2 5
A pattern began to emerge. I began drawing the initial structure of the family using a square. It helps me to see the relationships visually. Although I was born on the 13th, and that has its own significance without any reduction, it does reduce to 4. Four also represents the four Elemental Energies involved in manifestation. From there I arranged the numbers.
The X represents partnership and a sense of binding together. Arranging the family members in this way, in order of birth actually, I found that the number 1 became significant. The horizontal line represents the physical realm and the vertical line, the nonphysical realm.
Here’s what I came up with:
I used both triangles to represent the parents above, and their creation, their children, below. The blending of the two triangles, or tetrahedrons, create the star tetrahedron, or Merkaba, the shape of the quantum field surrounding each of us. The 8’s and 2’s balanced, and added to 10, as did the 5’s on the horizontal/physical realm axis. Ten reduces to one, making the vibrational resonance of the number 1 the focal point of the family, a blend of practicality (8) and balance (2) in the development of the family structure. In addition, another synchronicity lies in the first letter of our names. They all begin with J, which also resonates the number one.
Three seems significant in that it’s the distance between both Dad and Mom, as well as Sons 1 and 2. That’s when I noticed that it was also the distance between each person and each segment along the vertical/horizontal axis. So, three, a catalyst, influences not only the interaction between family members, but also the foundational nature created by the blending of nonphysical and physical realms. Creative energies infuse the family, as they support each other’s endeavors.
The outer ring expresses the energies involved during life in the physical realm. 3 blends into 6 on the vertical/nonphysical axis, culminating in 9. 11 is realized on the horizontal/physical axis from a blending of 5 and 6 energies.
Nine represents completion. It resonates with sensitivity and intuition. It’s extension is oneness. Eleven, is a master number. It can reduce to two, but in this case, 5 and 6 build to 11, the expression of illumination.
Looking at the horizontal axis first, representing the physical realm, five represents change and six, the sacred, culminating in 11 or illumination. We’re here to awaken. Interesting flow of energy there. Along the vertical axis, the nonphysical realm, three is again, the catalyst, infusing joy into the sacred energies of six, emerging into completeness..oneness. The nonphysical supports and balances the physical and creative energies abound.
As above, so below.
I’m not a numerologist. I’ve read a few books on the subject, but my understanding is limited at best, so I had no idea the numbers would work out this way when I began. I arranged things in an order that seemed right and inserted the numbers from there. I leave it to my other family members to decide for themselves how it resonates, but for me, it shows a family of focused, independent people, each bringing his/her own strengths to the equation. The catalytic energy of the family is intuitive and aware which resonates in this family of empaths. Catalytic energy can result in chaos, but it can also result in an intense collective focus. Either way, a balance, perhaps foundational in nature, between both is enhanced by energies from both the physical and nonphysical realms.
What I find most interesting is the 9 and 11, completion and illumination, particularly given the change in frequency we’re all experiencing. Ascension isn’t necessarily a completely loving experience. Just as with any kind of birth, it can be messy, lots of catalytic events occurring, revealing everything we don’t want in our lives anymore, propelling our focus into more positive directions. The momentum is there and it’s rising. Love and unity will replace hatred and division. Awakening is at hand. This may be an expression of one family, but as all are one, all minds are joined, and all benefit from the energy.
