What’s next? COVID-Donald decided that waving to his supporters is apparently more important than protecting the very people who protect him every single day and did a once around the block in the motorcade. Seriously. He donned a suit and left the hospital for a joy ride. One shot showed the Secret Service agent in front of him wearing a paper hospital cover over his suit along with an N-95 mask and face shield. I couldn’t tell if he has on goggles under the face shield as well.

I assume all the other agents in the vehicle with him were in similar garb. Walter Reed’s Attending Physician expressed outrage at the stupidity of such an act which I immediately shared to my Facebook page, posterity, and all. I almost thought it was not true, but then I saw cable news outlets sharing information about it and I began scrolling through my timeline on Twitter to find tweets from various doctors who have no problem voicing an opinion.

From what I gathered, the steroid he was given can make one feel invincible when in truth, at that moment you’re nuttier than a fruitcake. So, why did the doctors allow him to leave the hospital? Shouldn’t he be in a quarantined environment to keep others safe? Instead, he’s allowed to leave the hospital and potentially infect those in his employ?

Does a patient have this level of control when they’re contagious? Do we need a court order to keep him in isolation? Did he sign something similar to a discharge against medical advice form or something? What liability does Walter Reed have when a patient leaves this way, especially after being given a steroid that can cause mental issues?

Why did no one stop him? What the hell is going on?

I don’t know about you but as far as I’m concerned this is sheer folly. It’s completely nuts. He filmed a quick one-minute video for Twitter and then off he went. Or maybe I should have said, off his rocker he went. He apparently knows all about COVID now. Or is it the steroid talking?

Time will tell, but rumors are that he’ll be released tomorrow and until this moment I scoffed at that idea. After seeing the tape of his Sunday outing with the boys I’m not so sure anymore. I mean, it was bad enough when nearly everyone on Twitter seemed to have trouble believing he was sick and then it transitioned into trying to figure out just how long he kept this from people, his staff included.

Now it seems that he could have been infected either at or before Saturday’s super spreader party in the Rose Garden where children were present sans masks. It was a nightmare in progress and now some people in attendance have tested positive for the virus. But the worst of this is that he may have knowingly risked Joe Biden, his wife, staff, and everyone who attended the debate last Tuesday. Donald’s wife has also tested positive and it was odd that she was wearing a mask while seated with his adult children when they refused the Cleveland Clinic’s futile attempts to insist that they wear their own. You know, since it was a requirement, and all.

But why was she wearing a mask? Did they already know that she and her husband had tested positive? Is that why they reportedly arrived at the venue at the last minute so that no testing could be done?

Will no one stand up to these people?

Jamie Harrison brought his own plexiglass sectioned divider to his debate with Lindsay Graham. I’m thinking we all may need one.
