A Thor’s Hammer Aspect Influenced by Mercury Retrograde ~ 14 October 2020
As if Mercury retrograde isn’t enough to contend with regarding interactions with others, a Thor’s Hammer aspect between the Moon, Uranus, and the South Node is happening today between 10 am and 6 pm PDT potentially stimulating all sorts of frustration.
To create the Thor’s Hammer aspect pattern, the Moon in Virgo is in square with the South Node in Sagittarius while both are sesquisquare with Uranus in Taurus (and in retrograde as well), the planet of the unexpected. And given that Mercury, the planet of communication, is currently both in retrograde and emotionally focused Scorpio, we’re likely in for a time of it apparently, at least for a few hours in the morning and all of the afternoon. So, buckle up, buttercup, and do the best that you can.
The Moon square the South Node offers the foundation of learning from experience, especially profound right now if interactions become emotionally charged with others. In other words, you may go too far in expressing your truth before others are ready to hear it.
Next, both the Moon and the South Node are in sesquisquare with Uranus which may stimulate frustrations involving circumstances that seem to have no resolution. If communications go awry, then it’s just one more rock on the pile, so to speak, and clarity will no doubt be affected, all intensified by Mercury’s retrograde effect.
Lots of soul-searching today may need to happen along with waiting for any emotional waves to pass lest a situation become more volatile than is necessary. Wait instead (I know, patience is a bitch) for the true picture to be revealed before jumping to conclusions that may not reflect truth.
Thor’s a powerful influence, so understand your effect on others today.
Blessed Be
