Daily Thoth Influences – Triple Goddess Manifested
Thoth influences for today appear to take a Divinely Feminine focus with The Empress, The Priestess beginning the landscape, concluding with The Universe (The World in other decks). Order doesn’t matter in a landscape spread, so beginning with The Priestess, she represents the Maiden aspect of the Goddess, the Feminine Divine. She is intuitive and reflects balanced decision making as she remains in stillness, in alignment with Source, suggesting that we listen to our inner voice and follow its wise counsel.
The Empress is next reflecting the Goddess in her Mother aspect. She represents elegance and graciousness, abundance and wealth, pleasure and fertility. She is the nurturing Divine Mother, extending Perfect Love and Perfect Trust as she surrounds her family with loving guidance and protection.
Typically representing the Goddess in her Crone aspect would be the Moon. But The Universe represents the synthesis of all the Fool has learned along the way, from creation through awakening, so in a sense it does represent the Crone. The Universe signifies completion, success and liberation.
We see the cycle of life represented in the spread, moving from our beginnings as the Maiden through to completion with the Universe, carrying with us everything we’ve learned along the way. In the Thoth deck, a maiden (perhaps representing the Maiden aspect) is depicted as the Universe as the journey comes full circle, ready to begin anew.
Listening to our inner voice, embracing our inner stillness, allows us to view the world with balanced perspective. Our liberation comes with remaining in alignment with Source, reflecting the wisdom of the Feminine Divine, proceeding with grace and dignity.
The Triple Goddess manifested. Cool!
