Favorable/Unfavorable for Magick ~ excellent – include the witch rune, Hagalaz, in your working today either on the altar or carved into a candle. Use a thorn from a Hawthorn tree to do the carving and then anoint the candle in a ritual oil aligning with your purpose and then roll the candle in some crushed basil or nettle. If you’re working with witch bottles or charm bags in your ritual, the herbs and thorns can be useful there. Burn dragon’s blood resin in a cauldron for further protection.

Rune Divination ~ Othala, Fehu, Hagalaz – although Fehu is considered the sending rune, it’s also the rune that describes cattle, or moveable wealth. In addition, part of our tradition and legacy (Othala) involves the wealth we attain throughout life. The presence of Hagalaz, the Norn rune of the past, suggests that how we go about achieving wealth needs to be reassessed with one path closing and another opening. Hagalaz provides the energy to tear down that which no longer serves without destroying completely the framework in which its expressed. So, I would say that today’s rune divination asks you to look within to reassess the path you’re taking to establishing your legacy and let go of perceptions or responses that prevent success.
Lunar position – Taurus – Let your imagination run wild as you step outside your comfort zone to explore and develop new ideas and experiences. Elemental Influence ~ Air, Fire, and Earth elements are having the strongest impact and are in relative balance with each other today suggesting intellect, will, and physical/material concerns are in focus. Water is much less of an influence indicating emotions could be in flux or you may experience a lack of flexibility today.
Energetic Sign Quality/Mode ~ Fixed sign qualities are strongest today suggesting stability and routine are favored.
Rays ~ The Rays continue today with the 1st and 7th Rays again providing the strongest collective influence. From there, the 3rd Ray of active intelligence along with both the 4th Ray of harmony through conflict and 5th Ray of concrete knowledge and science have increased their strength and are impacting the expression of truth today indicating that there will be plenty of will and power (1st) to manifest (7th) a collective understanding or agreement. The strength of the 2nd Ray of love and wisdom over the 6th Ray’s expression of devotion and idealism suggests that wisdom may contain any fundamentalism or expression of conspiracy thinking.
