The Goddess Effect for 21 April 2021

I consider The Moon, Venus, Vesta, Pallas, Juno, Ceres, Eris, and Lilith as Goddess influences and I’m starting a series that looks at how these planets/planetary bodies/positions interact with each other and potentially influence how we assert ourselves within relationships along with how we nurture self and others. I’m also including Chiron, the wounded healer, in the mix as well given its powerful influence on our emotions and interactions.

I won’t post daily unless there are significant shifts in the aspect patterns, but I do think it’s beneficial to consider how issues of partnership, nurturing self and others, emotional expression, sacred ritual, strategy, and manifesting the female warrior within impact our perceptions and experiences.

Today, the Moon, Juno, Ceres, and Eris are in a grand trine with each other. All are in Fire signs with The Moon in Leo, Eris and Ceres in Aries, and Juno in Sagittarius. The Moon governs our emotions while Juno influences partnerships. Ceres influences how we nurture self and others, especially the women in our lives, while Eris involves balancing the masculine and feminine polarity within.

A trine in and of it self describes an easy relationship between the planets but when in the same element, that element stands out. Fire signs are naturally motivated, and while that’s typically a good thing, it can also bring out a single-minded or selfish focus, or a lack of impulse control, that can impact relationships with others. So caution should be taken in how you express yourself with others today.

A trine between the Moon and Juno (and Ceres) suggests getting together with female family or friends today, with the square between the Moon and Lilith cautioning against letting moodiness affect your experience. In other words, make the trine between the Moon and Eris work in your favor and choose your manner of self-assertion wisely.

Venus, the goddess of love and beauty, trine Vesta, the goddess of hearth and home indicates that comfort and blessings are found at home with family and close friends while a sesquisquare between Venus and Juno focuses in on the need to balance nurturing your own needs with those of others.

Juno’s trines with both Ceres and Eris describes an easy experience with partnerships but in the Fire signs of Aries and Sagittarius, a lack of tact may have a harmful effect on your interactions with others particularly if self-assertion isn’t kept in balance. A strong conjunct between Ceres (23° Aries) and Eris (24° Aries) suggests that respecting the individuality and independence of all parties within the relationship should also be a factor.

In summary, it appears that although we may feel motivated to gather with others today in some fashion, it’s going to require some self-awareness so that no one is vying for position or asserting oneself over another. If this applies to a work situation, interactions may become lively, but again, use caution so that your own self-assertion doesn’t offend others. Instead, have the inner wisdom and will to respect the needs of others. This may be a day where a balance is struck between doing your own thing along side others doing the same and coming together to nurture and support a shared experience.
