Magickal focus ~ Mars influence, passion, manifestation, creativity, self-assertion, reducing conflict

Time

  • Dawn – healing, new beginnings, study, purification
  • Noon – strength, opportunity, success, protection, wealth
  • Sunset – letting go, release
  • Night – spirituality, aligning with Spirit, healing, dreamwork, visions

Favorable/Unfavorable for Magick ~ excellent – A New Moon ritual can be used this evening to set your intention(s) for the next few weeks until you can bring them to fruition on the Full Moon. Given the Mars influence, don’t be afraid to shoot for the Moon, so to speak, and set your intentions surrounding manifestation, self-assertion, and increasing creativity. Since the Moon becomes New at 12:00 PM PDT, the noon hour actually would be best for the ritual. Hold a piece of amethyst in your hands to connect with Higher Self consciousness and align in Goddess presence. Refer to today’s rune divination below for additional counsel.

Rune Divination ~ Sowilo, Hagalaz, and Fehu comprise today’s rune divination where we transmute ego into Spirit and cast the intention for new beginnings. Of course, with Hagalaz, as the both the Norn rune of the past as well as the witch rune, we draw in the light of Spirit by visualizing Sowilo, following the as above so below trajectory downward into our lower resonance of ego awareness where we infuse the lower self with Source Vision. From there, we cast the intention with Fehu to manifest Higher Self awareness, transmuting the lower vibration of the ego into the higher vibration of Spirit.

Lunar position –  Taurus; New Moon at 12:00 PM PDT – The New Moon in Taurus has you setting new intentions surrounding your need for basic security and safety. It may also include a focus on extending compassion to others or changing your approach to any challenges that arise. Sign strength – Taurus, Gemini, and Aquarius provide the strongest sign influence today with Taurus influencing stability, values, routine, stubbornness, and self-indulgence; Gemini influencing communication and the expression of ideas; and, Aquarius providing a group consciousness and humanitarian approach that may also rebel against the status quo.

Polarity – Masculine (12), Feminine (11) – polarities are in relative balance today with the masculine or projective influence slightly stronger

Elemental Influence ~ The Air element provides the strongest impact today suggesting intellectual/communication concerns are in focus.

Energetic Sign Quality/Mode ~ Fixed sign qualities are strongest suggesting stability and routine are favored today. Mutable (flexibility, adaptability) sign qualities, however, are increasing.

Rays ~ The 4th Ray of harmony through conflict and the 2nd Ray of love and wisdom continue to provide the strongest influences suggesting you’re able, through expressions of love and wisdom, to come to an agreement with others. The excessive expression of ideology from the 6th Ray of devotion/idealism is still thankfully having a lesser impact.

Finally, the 1st Ray (will/power) and the 7th Ray (ceremonial order/magick) are both less of an influence on our ability to create and manifest our desires.
