Magickal focus ~ Mercury governs, communication, interactions, balance, justice, revelation

Time

  • Dawn – healing, new beginnings, study, purification
  • Noon – strength, opportunity, success, protection, wealth
  • Sunset – letting go, release
  • Night – spirituality, aligning with Spirit, healing, dreamwork, visions

Favorable/Unfavorable for Magick ~ very bad – given the very bad favorability for working magick today, go within and reflect on today’s rune divination. Additionally, if divination interests you, research the meaning of each of today’s runes and practice drawing the runes, thinking about the meaning while drawing each one. How a witch carries herself or himself matters and expressing Spirit into everything we do provides a perfect foundation from which everything else flows. The runes as a divination tool are a language of Spirit and each one reminds us of where our true wealth lies: in our fundamental unity with all. Embodying the message of the runes fosters awareness of the collective aspect of Self and a witch would do well to study each one.

  • 4th (harmony through conflict) – low impact – signals that cooperative efforts and understanding cause and effect may be very challenging today

  • 6th (devotion/idealism) – low/medium impact (increase) – The 6th Ray of devotion and idealism is a tricky influence in that if the 2nd Ray is less, we typically see an increase in gullibility and a single-minded approach. In other words, too much ideology or too much devotion affects our ability to view our experiences or beliefs in a realistic manner. With the 6th Ray’s increased effect, perception/ideology theoretically may be more difficult to manage but with the 2nd Ray having a stronger impact on wisdom, gullibility may be kept in check.
