Retrograde: Jupiter – inner reflection is warranted, centering on discovering inner truth; Neptune – discernment is a factor in this retrograde where you look within to determine truth from fiction and arrive at a more realistic understanding of the truths that surround you; Saturn – reassess boundaries and how your structure your life; Pluto – inner transformation is favored; Pallas – reassess your overall understanding of situations and observe patterns as they unfold; Chiron – reflect on inner woundings, apply their message, and then move on; Eris – time to explore and reevaluate your expression of feminine power to maximize your potential; Uranus – stations retrograde today and indicates a focus on esoteric studies and original thought.

Polarity: The polarities are in relative balance today with the Masculine (projective, active) polarity slightly stronger.

Elemental Influence: Elemental Air (intellect, reason, justice, interaction) provides the strongest influence with Water (emotions, compassion, empathy) and Earth (material concerns, physical presence) next in strength and in balance with each other. Fire (will, creativity, motivation) continues to have some presence but less than the others.

Ray Influences: The Rays continue at the same level today where we continue to see a significant decrease in both the 2nd and 6th Rays effect on wisdom and love impacting devotion to idealism or ideology. This may suggest that higher awareness is having little influence over the ego.

The goal of the 2nd Ray is to manifest love and to live in service to others, in other words, the expression of Christ Consciousness throughout our life. When its impact is low it can signal a lack of boundaries or a focus on the self instead of the fundamental unity we share with others. Although the 6th Ray can manifest in a positive manner, and if in balance with the 2nd Ray it can manifest from wisdom and love, if it’s not balanced by that higher wisdom, the risk is there for the fanaticism we’re now witnessing to take hold.

The 5th Ray of concrete knowledge and science is still having a decreased impact on our mindset and decisions, but with the 4th Ray of harmony through conflict increasing somewhat, perhaps truth has been acknowledged, but how it manifests is still being considered. The strength of the 1st Ray on will expression continues to impact how we assert ourselves to others suggesting that creativity, inspiration, and motivation are still somewhat less with pride an ongoing concern. And given the increased impact of the 3rd Ray of active intelligence, is this being used to advance a self-driven agenda instead of an outcome that is based on harmony and the preservation of a shared values?

Overall, the 7th Ray’s impact on balancing higher self with ego suggests that awareness of the greater picture is increasing which may resonate with or impact self-expression and decisions. But how that manifests will continue to be an individual decision.

  • 1st (will/power) – low/medium impact – creativity and inspiration continue to be less of an influence as are motivation and self-assertion
  • 2nd (love/wisdom) – very low impact – the impact on extending unconditional love, compassion, and understanding has decreased significantly today with service to self and indifference possible
  • 3rd (active intelligence) – very strong impact – adaptability to new ideas as well as overall understanding remains very strong today
  • 4th (harmony through conflict) – medium impact – signals that cooperative efforts and understanding cause and effect are still challenging today and mediation may still be difficult to achieve
  • 5th (concrete knowledge and science) – low impact – suggests that the impact of scientific knowledge is having a decreased impact on our mindset and decisions with a narrow minded or prideful viewpoint likely
  • 6th (devotion/idealism) – very low impact – The 6th Ray of devotion and idealism is typically kept in check by a strong 2nd Ray influence. Too much ideology or too much devotion affects our ability to view our experiences or beliefs in a realistic manner. Today’s significantly low impact suggests that devotion to personal ideology may be less or may be changing
  • 7th (ceremonial order/magick) – medium impact – balancing the lower ego expression with higher self awareness may become easier today
