Retrograde: Mercury – this is a time for observation in lieu of reaction as well as issues involving communication in all forms including electronics. Avoid signing contracts during this time; Jupiter – inner reflection is warranted, centering on discovering inner truth; Neptune – discernment is a factor in this retrograde where you look within to determine truth from fiction and arrive at a more realistic understanding of the truths that surround you; Saturn – reassess boundaries and how your structure your life; Pluto – inner transformation is favored; Pallas – reassess your overall understanding of situations and observe patterns as they unfold; Chiron – reflect on inner woundings, apply their message, and then move on; Eris – time to explore and reevaluate your expression of feminine power to maximize your potential; Uranus – indicates a focus on esoteric studies and original thought.

Polarity: The polarities are in relative balance today.
Elemental Influence: Elemental Air (intellect, reason, justice, interaction) provides the strongest influence with Water (emotions, compassion, empathy) and Fire (will, creativity, motivation) next in strength and in balance with each other. Earth (material concerns, physical presence) is having the least impact today.
Ray Influences: The 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 6th Rays have shifted in strength with will and power (1st), and a reliance on fundamental knowledge (5th) decreasing, while love and wisdom (2nd) along with balancing realism with extremist views are both increasing. However, these changes won’t necessarily have a significant impact on self-expression today.
The decreasing strength of the 1st Ray of will and power suggests that expressions of pride or arrogance are still a concern today resulting in either the need to control others or the lack of self-assertion. The 2nd Ray’s lower strength, although increasing a bit today, still indicates that expressions of love and wisdom are having less of an impact on our relationships with others reinforcing the continued low impact of the 6th Ray’s effect on managing extremist views.
The decreased strength of the 2nd Ray signals a lack of empathy toward others. The 6th Ray’s reduced strength suggests a lack of impulse control could be present with the risk still there for fanaticism and/or manipulation from the agendas of others.
In conjunction with the decreased impact of the 2nd Ray, the 3rd Ray of active intelligence’s present strength signals a concern that a self-driven agenda instead of an outcome that is based on harmony and the preservation of a shared values may continue.
The 5th Ray of concrete knowledge and science is having a stronger influence on our mindset and decisions, but with the lower impact of the 4th Ray of harmony through conflict, arriving at a shared truth may still prove challenging.
Overall, the 7th Ray is having an average impact on balancing higher self with ego suggesting that awareness of the greater picture may not resonate with or impact self-expression and decisions.

- 2nd (love/wisdom) – low impact (increasing) – the impact on extending unconditional love, compassion, and understanding has decreased significantly today

- 4th (harmony through conflict) – low impact – signals that cooperative efforts and understanding cause and effect are still challenging today and mediation may still be difficult to achieve
- 5th (concrete knowledge and science) – very low impact (decreasing) – suggests that the impact of scientific knowledge is having a decreased impact on our mindset and decisions with a narrow minded or prideful viewpoint likely
- 6th (devotion/idealism) – low impact (increasing) – The 6th Ray of devotion and idealism is typically kept in check by a strong 2nd Ray influence. Too much ideology or too much devotion affects our ability to view our experiences or beliefs in a realistic manner. Today’s significantly low impact suggests that devotion to personal ideology may be less or may be changing
