Inherent in Dagaz is the energy of Gebo as it invokes balance in our experiences. As the gift, Gebo offers the gift of light or Spirit to both our awareness and to our interactions with others. Dagaz, representing a new day, brings one phase to its conclusion so that a new phase can unfold. And in this case it’s describing the release of one set of perceptions that are then replaced by those reflecting higher self awareness.
Eihwaz provides the continual energetic link between the realm of Spirit and physical form, and a bridge to higher consciousness that will enhance and sustain higher awareness.
Energetic Influences
Polarity: The feminine (receptive) polarity is strongest today suggesting that compassion and empathy for others provide the strongest influence.
Elemental Influence: The four Elements are in relative balance today with Water (emotions, compassion, empathy) providing the strongest elemental influence. Earth (material concerns, physical presence), and Fire (will, creativity, motivation) are next in strength with Air (intellect, reason, justice, interaction) following having the least impact.
Ray Influences: The effect of the seven cosmic Rays essentially impacts the soul/ego balance at any given moment. As the Rays move through the universe and ultimately reach each individual, they color (or influence) our perceptions and behavior. If we perceive our experiences from a soul perspective, then our overall perspective resonates from a higher vibration; whereas, if we react from the standpoint of ego, our resonance becomes lower and more reactive.
The decreasing influence of the 1st Ray on the expression of will and power suggests that self-confidence is less than last week and you may be less motivated to pursue new experiences. However, with the 2nd Ray influence of love and wisdom increasing, empathy and understanding increases today. This supports a greater understanding of others and, along with the strong impact of the 4th Ray energy of harmony through conflict, it suggests that you may be more inclined to collaborate with others today.
The strength of the 3rd Ray of active intelligence indicates that the ability to process information intellectually may be increasing, and a with the 5th Ray also increasing, you may rely more on scientific knowledge to inform your perspective. And with the 6th Ray’s increased impact on devotion and idealism coupled with the increased 2nd Ray influence, the acceptance of shared truth may be more easily achieved today.
Finally, the 7th Ray’s increased impact on balancing higher self with ego suggests that a higher awareness may inform your overall perspective today.
