Kenaz represents the torch, light of Spirit, and clarity, visually infusing the same into both Algiz and Jera. With Jera, that clarity is expressed both inward and outward (forward and reversed) while with Algiz, it’s at if we raise our hands in supplication to Spirit as we draw down its light into our awareness. Isa (ᛁ) is also visible in Algiz suggesting alignment in Spirit.
Considering both Kenaz and Isa, it’s easy to see how the general interpretation of Algiz involves not only the strength of the elk, but also protection and higher consciousness. Algiz also acts as a bridge between physical reality and the astral realm, providing a pathway for Spirit to infuse the soul on its journey in physical form. Energetic Influences
Polarity: The masculine (projective) side of self is having the greatest influence suggesting motivation, creativity, and expressions of will are having the strongest impact today.
Elemental Influence: Air (intellect, reason, justice, interaction) provides the strongest elemental influence today with Fire (will, creativity, motivation) next in strength. and are in relative balance with each other. Earth (material concerns, physical presence) follows with Water (emotions, compassion, empathy) continuing to exert a significantly lesser elemental influence today.
Ray Influences: The effect of the seven cosmic Rays essentially impacts the soul/ego balance at any given moment. As the Rays move through the universe and ultimately reach each individual, they color (or influence) our perceptions and behavior. If we perceive our experiences from a soul perspective, then our overall perspective resonates from a higher vibration; whereas, if we react from the standpoint of ego, our resonance becomes lower and more reactive.
The moderate influence of the 1st Ray on the expression of will and power continues today suggesting that you may be somewhat less motivated to pursue new experiences. In addition, the current strength of the 2nd Ray influence of love and wisdom indicates that empathy and understanding are increasing today, and in conjunction with the current impact of the 4th Ray energy of harmony through conflict, it suggests that you may be more inclined to collaborate with others or be sensitive to their needs.
The present strength of the 3rd Ray of active intelligence indicates that the ability to process information intellectually may be greater today, and in conjunction with the strong influence of the 5th Ray on scientific knowledge, you may readily pursue science-based truth. And with the increased 2nd Ray influence providing a stronger impact on the 6th Ray of devotion and idealism, a fixation on ideology may be less today.
Finally, the 7th Ray’s impact on balancing higher self with ego will likely be influenced by the stronger balance between the 2nd Ray of love and wisdom and the 6th Ray’s unhealthy focus on devotion and idealism, suggesting that ego awareness may have less of an impact on your overall perspective today with ideology having less of an influence on your reactions and perceptions.

A new career opportunity may be the underlying stressor and a conversation is needed to understand the benefits and challenges you both could experience. This really isn’t the time to act without acknowledging the concerns of others who could be impacted by the new opportunity.
