Cause and Effect

The Kybalion has seven principles or laws with one being the law of cause and effect. We learn this concept early in life when as toddlers we step on a toy and it hurts our foot, or we do something that causes us to fall down. We don’t realize that we’re reaping what we’ve sowed, or that one thing caused another, but in truth, that’s exactly what has happened.

As time goes on, we learn more sophisticated applications of the principle, still without understanding its higher message. Which is where some people find themselves now. The law or principle of cause and effect plays out in our lives continually and we’re either experiencing its result or we’re intentionally causing it, whether we’re aware of it or not.

Now that a group of people have decided to lie to and manipulate others for their own nefarious agenda, up to a third of our country has taken the rest along a path that will result in untold health issues and heartache. It has and will continue to strain the ability of the healthcare system to care for us and place an enormous pressure on taxpayers to fund it all. It’s going to become an ongoing mass casualty experience that we will likely be contending with for some time to come. In effect, We are kept hostage, and the end result will be staggering.

We will learn much over the coming months and years, not only about ourselves but of the motivation behind the machinations of others whose unrestrained desire for power and control has already destroyed lives. Belief in conspiracy has become the norm, and with a government that consistently appears to choose messaging over blunt facts, it’s easy to understand why many have lost trust. The problem with that, however, is that it leaves people vulnerable to others who choose ego over higher awareness, and then people become pulled into a situation where they lose all perspective and are used beyond belief.

A year ago, an insurrection happened in which those individuals who participated are now reaping what they sowed. They thought they were standing up for what they believed, but in reality, they were only doing the bidding of the sadist in charge, as well as the sadists behind him. And the already existing us versus them scenario played out in violence, the truth of which we’re only now beginning to put together and understand.

It was bad enough that the last administration lied about a new virus and caused a break with reality for millions of people. Life is enough of a struggle, and now we see people run from one so-called remedy to another, all in service to their devotion to a conman’s desire for control.

All while he stands back watching the show, delighted in his Machiavellian control over others, assuming zero blame for anything.

The crazier it gets, the greater the harm he inflicts on everyone. And he’s not even in office anymore. It’s become a cult movement that, instead of watching its effect on a small group from a distance, the rest of us are potentially impacted by its fervor on a daily basis.

Again, all while he watches in delight from a golf resort.

As we wait for reality to finally set in, those people who are still captivated in his thrall continue to compromise their relationships with family, friends, and their greater community at large. Those of us who simply want to remain well and have a normal life experience must move around potentially sick people who believe the virus to be a hoax or no different than a cold or flu. We negotiate through minefields instigated by a lunatic who derives pleasure in his sadistic effect on others.

A desire for power is the cause, with the effect like a pyramid scheme where billionaires reap the benefit while others cascade downward into ruined relationships, untold health problems, and for some, possible death.

At the end of the day, each one of us will decide just how much of our autonomy will be given away to a madman, as well as to the unseen hand of his own puppet masters. And while awakening will be painful, especially for those who gave themselves over to him, it’s entirely necessary.

After all, the law of cause and effect is a simple one. We all know what it is. And there is no escaping it.
