The Esoteric Forecast for 20-26 November 2022
Below are the Ray, Ascendant, Node influences, and strong planetary aspects over the coming week. Each daily chart is cast for 8:00 AM.
Cosmic Ray Influences
The effect of the seven cosmic Rays essentially impacts the soul/ego balance at any given moment. As the Rays move through the universe and ultimately reach each individual, they color (or influence) our perceptions and behavior. If we perceive our experiences from a soul perspective, then our overall perspective resonates from a higher vibration; whereas, if we react from the standpoint of ego, our resonance becomes lower and more reactive. The specific Rays, along with their average strength this week, are as follows:
- 1st Ray – will/power; average strength: 1
- 2nd Ray – love/wisdom; average strength: 8
- 3rd Ray – active intelligence; average strength: 4
- 4th Ray – harmony through conflict; average strength: 14
- 5th Ray – concrete science and knowledge; average strength: 11
- 6th Ray – devotion and idealism; average strength: 14
- 7th Ray – ceremonial order and magick; average strength: 1
Strongest Rays
The strongest Ray influences this week are the 4th (harmony through conflict) and 6th (devotion/idealism) Rays in equal balance. The 5th Ray (concrete knowledge) is next, followed by the 2nd Ray (love/wisdom), with all Rays shaping the 4th and 6th Rays of harmony in a manner that preserves collaboration with others. Without the support of love, wisdom, and knowledge, the 6th Ray might overly challenge collaboration with others.
Weakest Rays
The 1st Ray of will and power and the 7th Ray of ceremonial order are severely reduced suggesting lower self-assertion this week as well as an inability to organize, while the greater strength of the 3rd Ray of active intelligence indicates the need to check for inaccuracies.
The Ascendant
Sagittarius – A masculine sign that functions on both the 4th Ray (harmony through conflict) and the 6th Ray (devotion/idealism), Sagittarius individuals are concerned with seeking their own direction or purpose in life. They are open-minded and take initiative, and they can be adventurous or impulsive. They may travel and provide inspiration to others in their lives.
You continue this week to value interactions where you can share your knowledge, and your intuition, charm, and genuine warmth attract others. Mid-week your emotions enhance your sensitivity and intuition, and others are drawn to the insights you share.
Node Influences ~ N Node: Taurus; S Node: Scorpio
A transformative combination that describes strong emotions that can lead to expressions of victimhood, and the need for a focus on a spiritual perspective that views the behavior of others as a window into one’s own issues. The challenge involves forgiving the self for judging others. With this placement, you also know what you value or desire, however, how difficult that is to achieve depends upon the balance you strike.
Continue to remain open to learning from your experiences and apply them to future endeavors. It may be that emotional issues from the past provide insight into how you express yourself in the present. As with last week, continue to reevaluate a situation that you clearly need to let go of so that you can move forward and focus your energies on creating new experiences that benefit yourself and others.
Planetary Aspects
The Sun (12th/Scorpio) ~ This is a positive time when you are happy and optimistic for the future and you enjoy spending time with others. Midweek, you’re drawn to exploring new environments and areas of study, and you’re able to rise above challenges and solve problems, particularly health-related, through inner reflection and daily rituals that can help you maintain good health, and an emotional or spiritual balance.
The Moon (various signs and houses) ~ Although you seek recognition from your career, you also need the balance that friendships can bring to a peaceful and harmonious environment. Otherwise, you feel a sense of loss when those in your life are unreliable or who do not live up to your expectations, and some reflection may be necessary so that you don’t devolve into drama. Should things become stressful, however, you might be inclined to seek time on your own to explore new experiences. You generally work hard, but you need to pay more attention to your emotional happiness, which, if you give in to impulse or self-indulgence, could be compromised. It’s up to you to shape your life in a way that affords you positive and loving experiences.
Mercury (1st/Sagittarius) ~ You engage with others in a loving and supportive manner, and an opportunity may arise for you to share knowledge about spiritual issues or self-improvement. As the week continues your focus becomes quite intense, whether it be on a project or on an individual, and you need to be aware that your tone and choice of words are deeply felt by others. That said, your empathy for others is strong, and you’re able to convey the support and understanding that those around you need.
Venus (1st/Sagittarius) ~ You are adventurous and flexible, and others are attracted to your honesty and idealism. You empathize well with others and offer insights into challenges they experience; however, sometimes your passion can go overboard, particularly where finances are concerned. If you’re not careful, interactions may become volatile, and you may have trouble conveying your perspective or concerns if you try to control the situation.
Mars (Retro, 7th/Gemini) ~ Your creativity and self-expression this week could continue to be undermined by a lack of healthy choices, therefore a more disciplined approach is favored as is dropping resistance to unexpected challenges. Although you desire intimacy with others, you may express yourself in a manner that doesn’t respect their feelings or perspective.
Jupiter ~ (Retro until 11/24, 4th/Pisces; 3rd/Pisces 11/22) Although you’re grounded by your home life and your search for spiritual truth, when Jupiter in Pisces enters the 3rd House, your imagination prompts you to explore and share new ideas and experiences with others. You apply your awareness of the overall picture to solving significant problems, and others notice your self-confidence and willingness to assert yourself for what you want.
Saturn (3rd/Aquarius; 2nd/Aquarius 11/21) ~ You are an original thinker and you make innovative contributions to group endeavors, but you still experience insecurity regarding your abilities, especially around authority figures who don’t understand or relate to your unique approach. In addition, over the week you may need to reassess how you view resources or the possessions in your life and make the changes necessary to either stabilize or increase your material security.
Uranus ~ (Retro, 5th House/Taurus) ~ Your attention continues to be on practical matters this week with your home life as your primary focus. This may involve an unexpected situation with the children in your life who need your unique perspective, or it could simply be that you’re embarking upon something new in your life.
Neptune ~ (Retro, 3rd/Pisces) – Although you have a strong imagination and excellent visualization skills, sometimes you feel that your thoughts are a bit scattered and that you lack realistic boundaries with others. Thankfully, your interactions this week take a spiritual focus where your idealism is welcome.
Pluto (2nd/Capricorn) ~ Continue to analyze how financial instability in your life relates to how you value money and be open to seeking counseling if necessary. If power struggles with a close partner continue this week that involve your financial situation, take care that moodiness doesn’t prevent a shared understanding. And it may be that you both need to examine how miscommunication may have contributed to the problem.
Chiron ~ (Retro, 4th/Aries) ~ You’re still dealing with issues from childhood that may have led to feelings of rejection, which continues to trigger a fear response. Although you’ve developed an inner strength when dealing with disappointment from others, it’s been a continual struggle. But you’re also ready to put those difficulties into a better perspective so that you can move on with more confidence in your life.
