Exploring Tarot: Queen of Pentacles
The Queen of Pentacles sits on her throne within a large gnarled oak tree. She’s dressed in a green gown and a mask adorned by dried oak leaves. She holds a scepter topped by a pentacle while surrounded by crystals emerging from the ground. Dryads appear within the tree’s branches ready to assist their Queen when needed.
This Earth Mother is kind and compassionate, a wise and successful businesswoman, and generous with her time and wisdom. She’s nurturing and supportive of those around her. And in a reading, she may represent an older woman who either enters or is part of your life, or she could represent qualities that could be beneficial in your life or in your relationships with others.
Reversed in a reading, the Queen of Pentacles could represent someone who lacks warmth, is irresponsible, and could appear concerned only with herself.
