As Above, So Below (6/22/2023): Collaboration

Reading Notes:
Today’s 22 Master numerology describes Cosmic Builder energy and with today’s significator runes, Raidho (soul journey, process over goal, rhythm, integration) and Albus (sage, wisdom, clarity), it suggests the reading is about a collaborative or integrative effort with others that could manifest something new and possibly profound.
The High Priestess (card 2, Major Arcana), Ace of Wands (1, Fire, Minor Arcana), and the 4 of Cups (4, Water, Minor Arcana) are today’s cards; however, I drew a fourth card to give more information about the 4 ofCups which was the King of Cups (Court, Minor Arcana). Overall, we have a seven numerology which indicates balance, observation, justice, and magick.
Beginning with The High Priestess, we see a woman in a gown sitting on a stone bench with a tapestry illustrating the Tree of Life from the Kabbalah. She sits between two pillars of Solomon, Boaz and Jachim, that represent the balance between dark and light, feminine and masculine, or the receptive and projective presence within. Her foot is resting on the Maiden Moon while she holds the Torah (wisdom) on her lap. A cross is visible on the upper part of her gown which illustrates the true energetic balance between soul and ego on the vertical axis and balanced polarity on the horizontal axis, while she wears a crown representing the transition between Maiden, Mother, and Crone.
The High Priestess represents the subconscious level of our lives, intuition, balance, revelation, compassion, inner wisdom, the dream state, alignment, and that which is hidden within. Relating The High Priestess to Raidho and Albus, this suggests an inner balance that integrates higher awareness or wisdom with perception so that you collaborate with others in a harmonious manner today.
Next, the Ace of Wands shows a hand reaching out from a cloud holding a club from which branches continue to grow. Wands represents the Fire element and the spark of life, creativity, motivation, success, and new opportunities. So, in relation to the runes and the High Priestess, it’s possible that a new opportunity for collaboration is manifesting on this Cosmic Builder day.
The 4 of Cups shows a hand reaching out from a cloud offering a cup to a man who is sitting on the ground with his back against an oak tree. His arms and legs are crossed in a defensive posture and even his garment seems to illustrate the same. Three more cups are standing upright on the ground, and although I typically see this card as stuck in a particular emotion and being unable to experience or manifest the emotional strength he really has, in this case, it may express fear over the unknown. If this opportunity to collaborate with others is uncomfortable, then he may be hesitant to pursue the new opportunity. He could be feeling resistive to change, or experiencing fear over this new endeavor.
At this point, I drew a fourth card, the King of Cups, to give more information about what’s happening with the man in the 4 of Cups. The King of Cups is wise and loving, compassionate and generous, but he can also be passive aggressive or have problems with commitment. And it’s the issue with commitment that may be impacting the man in the 4 of Cups. Maybe he’s not had a positive experience in the past when collaborating with others and the 4 is suggesting his hesitance to pursue that now.
To sum up then, a new opportunity may arise today that involves collaboration with others. And although that may be something that you’ve not been comfortable with in the past, or it’s something that’s entirely new to you, it may be that you feel nervous about it. But higher awareness tells you that this is something that can be successful, so take that risk and see what happens. If it’s successful, then it may positively reinforce collaborative endeavors in the future. The Ace is telling you that this is a time for new beginnings and today’s 22 numerology provides a powerful foundation for success.
