Exploring Tarot: Page of Swords
The youngest member of the Court, the Page of Swords stands on a small hill holding a sword in both hands wearing a tunic, tights, and knee-high boots. A flock of birds flies above billowy clouds in the sky. Pages are students, seekers, and messengers in each of the four suits of the Tarot, and the Page of Swords is someone who is intelligent, a risk-taker, diplomatic, and vigilant. Ever the student, the Page looks back at the lessons learned along the way as she leans into the future, prepared to meet whatever her world has to offer.
The suit of Swords reflects Elemental Air and communication, truth versus deception, balance, memory, reason, and knowledge. And the Page of Swords embraces truth as her sword, demanding justice and honor from all.
When the Page of Swords appears in a reading, she asks us to stand in our own power while paying homage to the lessons we take with us into our future endeavors.
