Exploring Tarot: The 10 of Cups
Ten golden chalices create a rainbow in the sky suggesting happiness, fulfillment, and success. As a family celebrates their new home, the parents each raise an arm welcoming the symbolism of the rainbow in their lives. The man’s arm is around the woman as their two children dance next to them. Their new home is on the hill and is surrounded by lush trees while a creek is visible on the left side of the scene.
The 10 of Cups describes happiness and success along with emotional fulfillment. The parents have worked hard to get to where they are and now they’re able to provide a loving and stable home for themselves and their children.
When the 10 of Cups appears in a reading, it suggests that good fortune awaits you and your family. Reversed, the card suggests that feeling secure is fleeting and essentially an illusion.
