The reading notes for today’s reading are below. You’re welcome to watch the video here.

Significator Runes: Hagalaz (9th rune, witch rune, destruction within established boundaries, hail, Norn rune of the past, celestial ice egg, protection, luck, trance work) and Via (path, way)

Cards: 7 of Cups, 7 of Swords, 6 of Wands; Note the two sevens as a pattern.

Overall numerology: 9+7+7+6=29; 2+9=11 (Master number for awakening, illumination, and enlightenment)

Oracle Card: Muse ~ Inspiration: The Muse inspires you and calls you to allow spirit to flow through your being. It calls you to see the beauty in all things and to remain inspired by the now. The 9 Muses in Greek mythology inspired artists to create and express their insights to the world. The Muse is counseling you to allow inspiration to flow through you as your natural state instead of as a result of your achievements.

Note: the final order of the cards in the reading is different than the order in which I drew them.

Beginning with today’s significator runes, Hagalaz, the 9th rune from the Elder Futhark, describes experiencing intentional transformation of some kind that still preserves your fundamental values and spiritual views. Via would then suggest that as a result of that transformation, a new path or opportunity may become available. With the Master 11 numerology, this could involve a shift in perception that ultimately opens doors to something new in your life.

Before ultimately moving the cards around, I initially drew the 6 of Wands. Here we see a man of means, possibly the King, riding through on his horse that is covered by a green blanket with an additional green cover for the reins. He wears a red cape with a green wreath adorning his head. Another wreath is affixed to his staff, with both wreaths suggesting victory or material success. Other people are behind him carrying their own wands which suggests supportiveness for this shared purpose or success.

Next, we have the 7 of Cups where a man stands in silhouette, looking at seven cups containing various items, all floating on dark clouds. Essentially, the man is daydreaming about a new home, riches, success, transformation, authority, and perhaps finding a new love. The 7 of Cups is often interpreted to mean that one’s head is in the clouds, or is describing unrealistic ideas or dreams. However, without those daydreams, how does the man pursue new endeavors? Maybe your dreams can’t happen at this time, but there’s no reason to reject them out of hand.

Lastly, the 7 of Swords shows a man who appears to be stealing five swords that were left outside. In the background, we see some tents on the right and what looks like soldiers over on the left, possibly coming back from battle. Given that the man is on the other side of the dual line that separates him from the scene, it suggests that he could have been a spy serving the King inside the tent and now he’s making off with the battle plans (swords) to balance or level the playing field to protect the village or kingdom he’s from.

Looking at the two 7 cards, there could be a balance between dreams and manifesting them in a rational manner that’s implied here. And it may take a transformation of perception to see that. And ultimately, the order of the cards changed to the 7 of Cups, then the 7 of Swords, with the 6 of Wands as the final card.

SUMMATION

A shift in perception may be in order today where you try to find a more realistic way to manifest what you want. Hagalaz helps you transform your perceptions in a manner that allows you to manifest new opportunities where a new doorway to success opens. Part of that process involves doing your research to discover a way to create an advantage for you to succeed. That may involve the support of others who help you along the way.
