Exploring Tarot: 6 of Cups
In the 6 of Cups, a young boy appears to offer a cup filled with white flowers to a girl walking by. Flowers adorn their heads while the boy wears a blue tunic and red pants and the girl wears a red skirt and a white blouse. However, considering she’s wearing a white apron, could it be that she is the one offering the cup of flowers?
A house is just beyond the ornate wall, a lit window and the Sun rising above a tree behind the house suggests a new day. Six cups in total, a lily in each one suggests purity and renewal.
The 6 of Cups describes an offering between friends or the sharing of one’s abundance with others without any expectations. Reversed, sharing one’s abundance may come with strings attached.
