Nauthiz and Fortuna Major comprise the significators for today’s reading. You might remember that both readings from last week also contained Fortuna Major, so success of some kind is carrying over from last week as well. For the as above side of the significators, Nauthiz, one of the three Norn runes from the Elder Futhark, invokes the will to manifest something new. It invokes inner fire, helps you overcome restrictions, and binds your intention to change that is positive. As we talked about in both readings from last week, Fortuna Major, the geomancy rune representing greater fortune, provides the so below influence in today’s reading. Greater fortune can signify a variety of things, but commonly it refers to a lucrative outcome of some kind. Together, the significator runes indicate that you can manifest something new that can produce a positive outcome today.

Moving on to the Page of Swords, we see a youthful guy who holds a sword in both hands. He’s leaning into his future while still looking back at the past and all the learning he’s taking with him into his new future. The billowy clouds in the air suggest influences that are unknown at this point, but the young man is ready to take whatever risks he needs to take (Nauthiz) to continue to learn and establish himself for his future endeavors (Fortuna Major).

Next, we come to the 4 of Wands, where we see a couple holding their bouquets high in the air in celebration of their marriage and their new future together. The castle is behind them and friends are present to help celebrate with the couple. Four poles are connected by two flowery garlands showing the place where the couple stood to express their commitment to each other. Four reflects the structure and foundation that a marriage or partnership can create. Together with the Page of Swords, it suggests that after some education or training that prepares the man for his future, now he’s ready to take a partner to increase his chances for success. Whether this implies an actual marriage, or taking on a partner for a new business endeavor, it indicates that he’s invoked a new beginning (Nauthiz) that is part of the greater fortune found with Fortuna Major.

Lastly, we come to the 9 of Cups. Here we see a jolly fellow sitting on a bench in front of a curved wall draped by blue fabric with nine chalices on top. The suit of Cups reflects the Water element and our emotions, and his smile indicates that he’s happy and emotionally fulfilled in his life. Again, the additional education from the Page has led you to create a partnership with someone else that ultimately leads to happiness and emotional fulfillment in your life. Whether the partnership suggests a marriage or one that involves a career, the new opportunity that you manifest is likely to be successful.

And one note…I mentioned in the final video (I did two) that I had to redo the video because the recording of the first one was jumpy and not in sync, etc. And, during this final attempt at recording, I mentioned that given that all suits other than Pentacles were present, I could take a fourth card at the end of the reading to see if it defined the partnership idea further. Of course, I forgot, so apologies there. I did take the card after I ended the reading, and it was the Knight of Pentacles, which suggests practicality concerning material security. However, I’m not sure if it more fully defined the partnership as a marriage or one that is business-related. So, I guess it is what it is.

SUMMATION

You have the chance to manifest something new in your life. Partnership seems to be involved in this, either in the form of a marriage, a life partnership, or a partner in a new business opportunity that can bring you happiness and emotional fulfillment. If this does involve a new business opportunity, perhaps you’ve always wanted to do something but you were hesitant to take the risk, especially if it could impact your family for example. However, today’s reading suggests that you may be able to move forward on something that could bring you real emotional fulfillment whether it involves a marriage or business partner.
