As Above, So Below for Monday, 18 March 2024

- Patterns: synchronicity between the 18th day of the month, Berkano the 18th rune, and the turning of the Wheel of Fortune
- Overall numerology: 18+10+7+9=44; 4+4=8 (leadership, harmony, strength, material recognition/approval)
SUMMARY
Berkano and Conjunctio suggest that this is a time to come together in healing and unity. The political situation in our country has been divisive and harmful to family relationships and friendships, and today’s reading suggests that this could be the time when we realize the fallacy of the externally imposed division and come back together. Berkano is the 18th rune of the Elder Futhark which also aligns with today’s date, the 18th of March. 18 reduces to nine which can imply endings and completion, so it may be that there’s an opening possible to reconnect with others.
The Wheel of Fortune suggests the turning of the wheel and the possibility of a successful outcome. The 7 of Swords suggests leveling the playing field by gaining information about the situation. And then the 9 of Wands illustrates the end of the battle and the possibility of a truce. But I don’t think this means that the whole situation has been resolved, but that at least some boundaries have been established so that the reconnection can take place.
So, today’s reading ultimately suggests that during this time of new beginnings, it may be possible to reunite with people who matter to you whether it involves friends or family, or both. Boundaries will likely need to be established, especially if beliefs haven’t changed so that the drama no longer impacts your interactions or the relationship.
