As Above, So Below for Monday, 8 April 2024

- Significator runes: Laguz (21st rune, flow, intuition, clairsentience, harmony, drawing energy back to you, emotional balance cleansing, purification, trance work) and Fortuna Major (greater fortune, overall fortune, success, spotlight, ego expression)
- Cards: 10 of Swords, 2 of Pentacles, 3 of Pentacles
- Patterns: in terms of numerology 3, 1, 2, 3 or 3, 3, 3 which would indicate a strong shift in perception; a run on Pentacles suggests that material security is the ultimate focus of the reading, or at least the dominant energy of the reading.
- Overall numerology: 3+1+2+3=9; Today’s overall numerology 4+8+2024=11. 2024 reduces to 8, so 4+8=12, 1+2=3; 3+8=11 (higher vibrational number) or it can show the lower vibrational 2 if you add 4+8+8=20; 2+0=2 but given we’re having a Solar Eclipse today, I’m going with the Master number 11 for the day. So, with the the nine overall numerology of endings and completion for the reading, something is coming to an end which could be viewed as the transition experienced by the eclipse, i.e. moving into darkness and back into the light and from the void of darkness, new beginnings are possible.
SUMMATION
Today’s runes, Laguz and Fortuna Major, describe a higher awareness-based outcome. Fortuna Major describes greater fortune, but it doesn’t have to be financial, although it certainly can be. Today’s overall numerology of nine for the reading suggests an ending of something and with the 10 of Swords, it appears that it’s the end of perceptions or paradigms that no longer serve.
Today’s cards, the 10 of Swords, 2 of Pentacles, and 3 of Pentacles describe letting go of perceptions that are holding you back so that a new decision can be made that takes you in an entirely new direction. Whether the decision involves your career, education, or something else in your personal life, you can see in both the 10 and the 2 that there’s an emotional component to your thoughts about it. However, whereas in the 10 of Swords, we see 1o swords piercing the back of the individual on the ground, his head is turned toward the light that’s returning. From there, he can again turn his back to his emotions in the 2 of Pentacles and make the decision he needs to make in a more practical and dispassionate manner. Finally, in the 3 of Pentacles, now he’s able to make a living by practicing his craft in a transparent way where others can see his work and then want to hire him.
The decision in the 2 of Pentacles may involve your career or the training or education you need. Or you may be in a job where you’re not experiencing emotional satisfaction and you need to shift your thoughts and perceptions so that you can decide on a more practical way to approach what you need from your job. Or, it could signal that the time is now to move into a new direction career-wise. But whatever this involves, your career or something else, it’s something that’s impacting your personal life, and a shift or change is needed. And with the reading’s overall numerology of nine, there appears to be an ending in play today. Including today’s 11 numerology, the decision you make reflects a Higher or spiritual awareness. And, lastly, the influence of today’s Solar eclipse has a symbolic if not energetic effect of out of the void comes the light, which Laguz describes as awareness flowing from Spirit.
Again, if you’re in the path of totality, get outside and witness the Solar Eclipse if possible. It’s an incredible experience and depending upon your beliefs, it can be quite profound.
