As Above, So Below for Thursday, 2 May 2024
The reading notes for today’s reading are below. You’re welcome to watch the video here.
- Significator runes: Kenaz (6th rune, torch, light, illumination, clarity, healing, revelation, well-being, intuition, transformation, awakening, creativity), Caput Draconis (head of the dragon, North Node influence, future)
- Cards: Ace of Cups (1), Justice (11), The Star (17)
- Patterns: 2 soul archetype cards (Majors) and an Ace which is also a strong influence.
- Overall numerology: Here I did the numerology from two perspectives given that the 11 numerology of the Justice card is a Master Number. In the first overall numerology I did not include the Master 11, instead aligning it specifically with Kenaz, and in the second one, I did include it. The first one separates its Master Number vibration out from the lower vibrational numerology in the second version. 1st: 6+1+17=24; 2+4=6 (shared path, guidance, assistance, un-equalness). 2nd, 6+1+11+17=35; 3+5=8 (leadership, strength, harmony, material recognition and approval). I prefer the first numerology because I would rather leave a Master number on its own because of its higher vibratory resonance illumination, awakening, and enlightenment. And, it aligns well in this reading with Kenaz and its own expression of illumination, clarity, and, awakening
SUMMATION
Today’s significator runes, Kenaz and Caput Draconis, suggest that expressing Spirit to others will foster a better future. Kenaz invokes Spirit into our interactions with others while Caput Draconis suggests that our self-expression impacts our future. Given that we have an Ace and two Major Arcana (soul-archetype) cards comprising the Tarot part of the reading, higher awareness is a strong factor in the reading that aligns well with Kenaz and the idea of expressing the light of Spirit in our lives.
Looking at the cards, The Ace of Cups reflects emotional genesis and how you express yourself emotionally. Justice, as the 11th card, brings in additional Master number energy (awakening, enlightenment) to the idea of justice, balanced reason, and legal issues (involves trust, truth, deception) and, together with the Ace, it suggests the need to balance emotions with intellect and to interact with people with honesty and compassion. In other words, manipulation that undermines trust with others may not foster a positive future.
From there, The Star refers to optimism, joy, our dreams, insights, and inspiration, as well as our hopes and our dreams. The goddess pours the water of Spirit into the water and onto the land, suggesting the grounding of our emotions in Spirit. This way we manifest our future, not only from our hopes and dreams but also from Higher Awareness.
So, in whatever way this reading relates to your life, consider how you express yourself to others. Are you grounding yourself in Spirit, or do you need to transform that aspect of your life so that you manifest a more loving and balanced future with others?
