- Significator runes: Fehu (1st rune, cattle, wealth, transaction, prosperity, success, growth, sending rune for magickal workings) and Via (path, way, journey, stuck in perception)
- Cards: Ace of Pentacles (1), The High Priestess (2), 6 of Pentacles
- Patterns: A run on Pentacles suggesting issues of material security, abundance, and prosperity; An Ace and a Major Arcana card
- Overall numerology: 1+1+2+6=10; 1+0=1 (new beginnings, talent, leadership, the self, initiation, motivation, independence)
SUMMATION
Note: I forgot to do the numerology for the reading which is 1. It reinforces the idea of a new path opening suggested by today’s geomancy rune, Via. I tend to get into a flow and occasionally I forget to look at the numerology.
Today’s runes were Fehu and Via suggesting that a new path is opening that can bring new opportunities, growth, and success. And again, with the numerology of 1 that I forgot to do in the video, this reinforces the idea of initiation and new beginnings. And don’t forget that the numerology is derived from the Elder Futhark rune’s order in the rune set and the numerology of each card.
Looking at the cards, it’s clear there is a focus on material security with both cards from Pentacles. But given that there is a card from the Major Arcana, I began the reading talking about The High Priestess and then returned to the Ace and the 6.
The High Priestess refers to the divine feminine within. She sits between two pillars, one dark reflecting the receptive presence and one light reflecting the projective influence. Together they reflect the inner nature of life: inner balance, inner wisdom, and alignment in Higher consciousness. So, with the High Priestess we’re looking at using our intuition, and given that she controls the subconscious realm, it could also suggest something hidden that may be revealed.
The Ace of Pentacles reinforces the path referred to with Via by its illustration of a path that extends through the archway of the hedgerow. As with all Ace cards in the Rider-Waite deck, a hand reaches out from a cloud holding a large coin, emanating the undeveloped potential of Spirit as it applies to increased opportunities, growth, and material security. Mountains are visible beyond the archway suggesting challenges along the way.
Lastly, the 6 of Pentacles suggests uneven assistance. This could indicate that someone you reach out to for assistance or guidance may have their own agenda. We see a man of means offering coins to one person on the ground while the other person waits for the man to give him something. However, the man holds a scale in his left hand just out of his peripheral vision. Is he trying to present himself as someone who is charitable when it’s really more of an illusion?
Overall, a new path may open today that could lead to increased material security. However, the 6 of Pentacles may be a cautionary tale in the reading where your intuition alerts you to be careful with the information or assistance you receive from the individual in question. That person could have a personal agenda in play and it might be best to get advice from a variety of people instead of only one person.
