SUMMATION
Today’s runes from the Elder Futhark and geomancy are Jera and Amissio suggesting the loss or decrease of clarity, or the decrease of a lack of clarity. Amissio talks about decrease, so if you’re unclear about something, that lack of clarity could decrease so that you become clear about something. Today’s numerology for the reading is seven which could indicate allowing a situation to settle before making a decision about it. So, in that sense, the seven numerology of the reading aligns well with Jera and the idea of unfolding awareness.
For the cards, I drew The Devil, the Knight of Wands, and The Chariot. If the essence of the reading is unfolding awareness or clarity, The Devil card, and its interpretation of being a slave to ego, indicates issues with ego-driven decisions or impulsivity, either by you or by someone else in your orbit. The Knight of Wands can suggest taking risks, and aligned with The Devil, those risks may impact you or others in an unacceptable way.
Lastly, the Chariot, the seventh card of the Major Arcana, suggests not only victory, but it also describes balance and knowing when to take the reins and when to drop resistance. And in terms of risk, you’re either beginning to realize the impact of taking unnecessary risks or, if this applies to someone else, you may decide to either step forward and express your concerns or to wait for more information before doing so. So the Chariot may be the card that provides the outcome for the reading, either involving your own unfolding awareness/clarity regarding your behavior or the same regarding someone else.
You or someone else may be taking unnecessary risks and something needs to be done about it. It’s one thing to take a risk when you’ve gathered as much information as possible beforehand, but quite another if you take the risk without knowing anything. If this applies to you, then you need to understand the overall impact of your behavior. If this applies to someone else, for example, a co-worker, you may choose to express your concerns to the co-worker or the boss or wait for more information before you do so.
