Exploring Tarot: Knight of Swords
Lord of the Winds and Breezes. A Knight on a white horse bursts onto the scene, his sword raised and his visor up. His sword seems to cut through the clouds in the sky as he rides against the wind. A card of Taurus in Gemini, The Knight of Swords is reliable yet adaptable. He’s clever and accepts challenges, ready to take swift action when necessary. He acts with courage and integrity in all that he does.
Upright, the Knight of Swords can indicate the querent or someone else who may enter his or her life in a way that expresses bravery and courage and can be looked to for support.
Reversed, the Knight of Swords can be someone who jumps in before knowing all the facts. Or he can be someone who expresses himself in an authoritarian manner.
