As Above, So Below for Thursday, 13 June 2024

- Significator runes: Tiwaz (17th rune, spiritual warrior, the god Tyr, ideals, faith, justice, oaths, sacrifice, justice) and Caput Draconis (N Node influence, head of the dragon, on the threshold, new beginnings)
- Cards: 9 of Wands, 2 of Cups, King of Wands
- Patterns: a run on Wands (will, motivation, initiation, creativity, new beginnings, new opportunities)
- Overall numerology: 17+9+2=28; 2+8=10; 1+0=1 (new beginnings, talent, leadership)
SUMMATION
Tiwaz and Caput Draconis are the significator runes for today’s reading. Monday’s reading also included Tiwaz for the Above side, but in that reading, the Below rune from geomancy, Rubeus, signified a very different energy than today’s geomancy rune, Caput Draconis. Rubeus is an evil influence and coupled with Tiwaz, it could be interpreted as the battle between light and dark or good and evil. Tiwaz is an activist rune that indicates someone who will sacrifice on behalf of others. So there could be a connection between Monday’s reading and the reading for today, but not in the same way. It may be that this reading suggests that what you did for others to speak truth to power on Monday is now taking you in a new direction. And considering the overall numerology of one for the reading, that also reinforces the idea of new beginnings.
Beginning with the 9 of Wands, there’s a sense that the battle is over, and as the man looks back at the other staffs behind him, he may be wondering if the battle is truly over and whether or not the staffs behind him are there in support. Otherwise, if the staffs don’t represent the other people involved that he stood up for, they could represent the other individuals he stood up against. Either way, the battle is over and he was victorious.
Moving on to the 2 of Cups, we see two people coming together to heal the issues between them. Again, this could signify that now that the battle is over, healing can begin, or reciprocity, harmony, or a peaceful resolution can now take place.
Lastly, the King of Wands seems to be observing the whole process taking place. The King could represent the warrior with Tiwaz and either the man who stood up for others or someone in authority who could be a mentor regarding the new direction that’s beginning.
However, The King of Wands does feel like an outlier to me in the reading so it may be that the new direction you’re taking involves a greater involvement in either leadership or in a new endeavor entirely that involves a more activist-oriented experience where your voice is valued in that process.
