SUMMATION

Again, as with Monday, we’re shaping our experiences with Uruz, but instead of Fortuna Minor, today’s geomancy rune is Via which describes a new path or direction. And, with the reading’s overall numerology of 11, the Master number for awakening and enlightenment, as well as today’s celebration of Independence Day, it could be that the reading is talking about manifesting a path that understands what’s at stake for everyone. Or, the reading may involve a more individual direction.

The 7 of Pentacles essentially describes taking stock of what you have. In the case of the farmer, it involves whether or not he has enough to get through the winter or has enough to sell. The Sun, the 19th card from the Major Arcana, suggests what he has or the direction he’s taken has been successful and brings happiness and fulfillment, while the 10 of Wands can either suggest that he’s carrying a heavy burden, or possibly the new opportunities that may arise from taking a new path. So, we can say from the reading that the farmer who has been making his living from the property he owns has now decided that he may need another way to either accomplish that or increase his abundance by taking a job away from his home.

In other words, after taking stock, you acknowledge what has worked and has been successful in your life, and now you’re ready to take new opportunities that create more abundance and success in your life.

On the other hand, there could be a more collective view of today’s reading. Given this is Independence Day in the United States, among other things, we celebrate our independence from a dictatorial King, and today’s reading may be reminding us all to take stock of what we have from living in this country. This could involve not only our career, home, or other opportunities we enjoy but also our civil rights and protections that have taken us so long to put in place, all of which, depending on the results of the upcoming election, could be upended at the expense of the American people. And with today’s Master number 11 numerology, it’s suggesting that we all need to wake up to what’s happening and be clear about the path we’re on and how that choice shapes our reality, both individually and collectively.

So, whether this resonates for you on a personal level relating to how you create abundance or material security in your life, or it involves a more collective path our country may be on after this year’s election, it’s clear that everyone will benefit by taking stock of what we have and what’s at stake. Will we build on the progress we’ve made, or will we give it all away to someone intent on destroying everything we’ve built thus far?
