SUMMATION

Today’s runes, Perthro and Caput Draconis, describe controlling your fate (Perthro) regarding a new beginning of some kind. Are you controlling your fate or are you giving that away to external forces or to the reactive ego? The run on Pentacles as well as the 3 of Wands suggests this could have something to do with a new opportunity that could be lucrative depending upon the choices you make. Today’s numerology (25/7) involves stepping back to get as much information as possible before making a decision, so today’s numerology also reinforces the reading.

We see a run on Pentacles and the Earth element in today’s cards. The Ace of Pentacles illustrates a hand that emanates the light of Spirit reaching out from the clouds holding a large coin. Lilies line either side of a path that extends through an archway connecting two hedgerows to the mountains in the distance. Aces describe new beginnings or the genesis of something new, and in this case, a new path to material security may be opening.

The 3 of Wands shows a merchant standing beyond two poles that appear as a doorway while he holds another pole or staff in his right hand. He’s looking over a bay with ships coming to and fro suggesting that he’s waiting for his ship to come in. Essentially, today’s reading suggests that a new path or opportunity may arise where you take a different approach where you control your decisions and, in turn, your fate or outcome. The reading also suggests the outcome of the path or opportunity may be successful and lucrative if you approach the situation from a soul or higher perspective instead of allowing the ego or circumstances or other people to define that experience for you.
