The reading notes for today’s reading are below. You’re welcome to watch the video here.

- Cards: Page of Swords, The Magician, 6 of Pentacles
- Patterns: one card from each group in the Tarot
- Overall numerology: 7+1+6=14; 1+4=5 (change, protection, innovation, variety, freedom versus restriction)
SUMMATION
Gebo and Rubeus begin today’s reading with some words of caution: a new partner may not be who s/he seems to be, or as my husband would say, be careful who you line up with. Gebo describes partnership and the gift of reciprocity. However, Rubeus describes someone with malevolent intentions. So, it may be that someone is coming into your life in some way that has his or her own agenda. That individual may seem too good to be true and if your intuition or inner voice is telling you to be cautious, then it’s likely the case that the person could bring chaos into your life. The overall numerology for the reading is five, suggesting both change and protection, so the Rubeus energy could bring both. And, the seven numerology of Gebo suggests the need to pause before making any decisions until you better understand the situation you’re dealing with.
Although The Magician carries the most weight in the reading, I’ll begin with the Page of Swords. The Page of Swords indicates either someone coming into your life or the qualities of the Page you need to adopt into your life in some way. This Page reflects the Air element and the intellect. Although he’s intelligent and diplomatic, he can also be impulsive and take unnecessary risks. As he leans toward the future, he’s looking back at the past, in a sense, relying on what he knows or has learned going forward. But things are changing evidenced by the wind in the scene and the ground that seems to move under his feet. The message here is as a situation may be changing, you need to understand all factors moving forward, especially if involves someone manipulative or malevolent.
The Magician, as card 1 from the Major Arcana, creates the physical reality for the soul (the Fool) as it takes its leap into its incarnation. His as above, so below stance invokes the soul into the form it will take and links the higher self to the ego’s expression. His tools are on the table before him representing not only the four suits of the Tarot, but also the four elements of creation. A lemniscate (figure 8) appears above his head symbolizing this eternal process of incarnation and reincarnation. The Magician invokes manifestation and with Rubeus as an influence, he could be cautioning you about your own manifestation, or the partnership (Gebo) you manifest/create with someone who can’t be trusted.
Lastly, the 6 of Pentacles illustrates an unevenness between the man of means and the two people on the ground. He holds a scale out of his peripheral vision as if to pretend that he’s creating some kind of balance; however, he’s only offering a few coins to one man and we don’t know if he’s going to offer any to the other man. Six is about guidance, empathy, and assistance, but the unevenness of the card doesn’t ensure any of that is taking place. Is the man making himself feel important by his actions, or is he doing something positive and helpful? Relating the 6 of Pentacles to Rubeus, is he the conman who is making promises he will never keep? And if you partner with someone like that today, will it have a positive impact, or is that only an illusion that will eventually come to light?
So, it seems that someone could come into your life during this period who may not be who he (or she) presents himself to be, and it makes sense to do your due diligence to be certain that you understand the truth about that person, especially if something feels off. Pay attention to your intuition because it’s higher self letting you know that partnering with that individual could cause all sorts of problems you don’t need.
Blessed Be
