SUMMATION
Ansuz and Rubeus, two runes at opposite ends of the spectrum (Soul versus ego), begin today’s reading, and after looking at the cards it seems like the Rubeus influence may have to do with undermining a new partnership in some way. At the same time, Ansuz suggests expressing yourself with respect and dignity. So you can see how the possibility of being at odds with each other is present in the reading.
The overall numerology for the reading is six which involves empathy, guidance, assistance, and walking a harmonious or shared path with others.
Looking at the cards, we see a marriage or partnership taking form in the 4 of Wands with a new foundation or structure beginning. From there, The Chariot, the 7th card from the Major Arcana, emphasizes the need for balance and knowing when to take the reins and when to drop resistance. This could be talking about when to assert yourself in the partnership or marriage and when to step back and allow your partner or spouse to do that. And finally, the Knight of Cups represents either the qualities of the Knight or the querent. The Knight is chivalrous, passionate, a visionary, and is ready to show compassion and harmony with others.
Essentially, the reading suggests that a new partnership may be forming and you need to avoid asserting yourself in a way that undermines that new relationship. It’s time to express Ansuz in your interactions so that you communicate your ideas clearly with respect for the needs of each other instead of insisting on your own way all the time.
