Algiz and Populus begin today’s reading suggesting that when we align in higher awareness or consciousness, we understand that we walk a shared path with others. The overall numerology of five may indicate this represents an overall change in perception. But, essentially, when drawing down the energy of Algiz, you’re manifesting the collective consciousness into physical reality, and that collective essence can impact how you align with others.

Beginning with the 5 of Wands, this card may suggest that something has changed regarding how you interact with others and express your creative ideas. No one is striking anyone, which is good, and a spirited discussion is certainly taking place, but they may not be listening to each other either. That said, something has changed in the group or a perceptual shift has happened where the ego is not trying to control the narrative. In other words, despite our differences, we can still go in the same direction.

Next, both the card of Death and The Star describe transformation. The Death card invokes change where new opportunities are possible and a rebirth or rebalancing can occur. To create an as above so below reality in the physical realm, therefore, it’s necessary to remember who we are and who we are to each other. As we allow the transformation to take place, we’re able to draw down higher awareness into our interactions, relationships, and the path we take together. Hate gives way to love, lies give way to truth, and respect for individual differences is embraced.
