The reading notes for today’s reading are below. You’re welcome to watch the video here.
- Significator runes: Eihwaz (13th rune, link between realms, connection between opposites, vortex, drawing higher awareness into physical reality, protection) and Populus (follower, crowd, passive influence)
- Cards: The Moon, 5 of Cups, The Tower; Extra Card: Death
- Patterns: Three cards from the Major Arcana signaling strong soul or higher awareness as a factor in the reading. Deception, loss, catalytic change in perception, moving on
- Overall numerology: 13+5+16=52; 5+2=7 (balance, observation, letting things settle, magick, spirituality); with the extra card: 13 reduces to 4 so, 7+4=11 (Master number, awakening, enlightenment)

SUMMATION
As with last Thursday’s reading, we begin with Eihwaz, an as above so below rune that draws higher awareness into our physical reality. But instead of Thursday’s geomancy rune, Laetitia, today’s geomancy rune is Populus which describes being a follower or part of a crowd. It’s a passive influence, so I see Eihwaz and Populus as aligning with higher awareness. In other words, we’re aligning in our soul awareness without the influence of the ego impacting that experience.
The initial overall numerology of the reading was seven which suggests observing a situation until things settle and you know exactly what you’re looking at. But with the additional card at the end of the reading, the overall numerology becomes eleven, the Master number for awakening and enlightenment.
Looking at the initial three cards, The Moon suggests deception of some kind has occurred with feelings of loss as the result (5 of Cups). However, with The Tower following, this card suggests that the deception, illusion, manipulation, or lies that you’ve discovered and the grief or loss you feel is quite profound. The Tower suggests a level of change that is catalytic, but it’s also change that brings positive transformation. The crayfish in The Moon card also links to this same transformation that can happen when truth is revealed. Having two cards in the reading from the Major Arcana already suggests a soul-level influence in the reading, so whatever is happening in your life right now is disruptive enough that it’s causing you to let go of your original perceptions and rethink the situation from a higher perspective.
At this point in the reading, I decided to take a fourth card to see what happens next. I drew the Death card, now the third card from the Major Arcana in the reading. Death is also about transformation and transition along with change and opportunity. And, if you look on the right side of the card, you’ll see the same two towers from The Moon card, only on the Death card, the Sun is rising between the towers. You already know from The Tower card that towers represent a rebalancing of sorts which can be quite transformative. But with Death, the Sun is rising on a new day where you achieve a new balance. This is also where the overall numerology shifts to the Master number 11 of awakening and enlightenment.
So, after all that’s happened, viewing the situation from a higher perspective allows you to see the situation from a higher perspective, and it moves you into a new direction where you’ve awakened to a different truth, not only about the situation but also about who you are and what you’re willing to accept.
Essentially, if you’ve discovered that someone is either deceiving, lying, manipulating, or conning you in some way, honor your feelings, but then allow a change in perception to take place that is truly catalytic and profound. Step into your power, and your own authenticity, and allow higher awareness to guide your response and the direction you take from there.
