SUMMATION
Hagalaz and Amissio begin today’s reading with the need to transform or rebalance perceptions that may be holding you back. Hagalaz is the transformative energy from Higher Self that asks you to reconsider perceptions or emotions that Amissio suggests keep you fearful of stepping outside your comfort zone to confront self-imposed challenges or pursue new experiences. Five is the overall numerology of the reading that describes change and freedom versus restriction and reinforces the truth of Hagalaz as the energy of change and Amissio as the energy of restriction.
Beginning with Justice, the eleventh card from the Major Arcana, this soul-archetype card suggests a rebalancing is necessary or a new equilibrium needs to happen; however, like Hagalaz, this is from a higher perspective. Next, the 7 of Wands can indicate either standing your ground, or confronting challenges, and in the case of Amissio, possibly the challenges imposed by holding onto perceptions that no longer serve you. The seven numerology of the card suggests getting a higher perspective from letting things settle to understand the overall picture.
Lastly, the 5 of Pentacles describes a change in circumstances that involve your material security. And if you live in a bubble of perception, reinforced by fear of change, Amissio suggests you may be hesitant to move outside your comfort zone. Hagalaz might then be the unexpected force that causes you to move in a different direction and see your life from a new perspective.
Today’s reading suggests that you may be staying within your comfort zone at the expense of personal growth and pursuing new experiences. From a higher perspective, however, you can confront the challenges created by your own insecurities, and then move in a new direction.
