The reading notes for today’s reading are below. You’re welcome to watch the video here
- Significator runes: Berkano (18th rune, birch tree, fertility, birth, family, bringing something to fruition, protection) and Amissio (loss, decrease, hesitance to engage, sacrifice, insecurity)
- Cards: 8 of Pentacles, 2 of Swords, The Hanged Man
- Patterns: a connection between the runes and the cards involving making a careful decision
- Overall numerology: 18+8+2+12=40; 4+0=4 (foundation, structure, grounding, pragmatism)
SUMMATION
Essentially, today’s reading may be suggesting that you need to make a decision about your work. The 8 of Pentacles seems to suggest that you’re ready to present your skills to the world and the decision you make involves how you’re going to do that. Although the 2 of Swords suggests making a decision in a dispassionate, rational, and balanced way, The Hanged Man suggests that allowing higher awareness to inform that decision will be needed so a decision that might be impulsive doesn’t upend all the effort you’ve made to create your future.
There could be a new business endeavor, possibly with another person, or a new job that could be in play for you today. If so, any decision you make needs to be based upon the facts and with a full understanding of the details so that you don’t let excitement get the better of you. In this case, a hesitance to engage described by Amissio is a good thing so you protect what you’ve built (Berkano) by not making the decision on impulse. The Hanged Man suggests the decision you make could be transformative, particularly if you surrender to higher awareness for guidance.
