The reading notes for today’s reading are below. You’re welcome to watch the video here.
- Significator runes: Tiwaz (17th rune, Tyr, spiritual warrior, faith, oaths, sacrifice, projective energy) and Tristitia (grief, sorrow, sadness, stuck in negativity, evil, holding grudges, condemnation)
- Cards: 10 of Swords, King of Wands, Temperance
- Patterns: one card from each group of the Tarot
- Overall numerology: 17+10+14=41; 4+1=5 (protection, freedom vs restriction, innovation)

SUMMATION
Standing up for self and/or others appears to be the theme of today’s reading. It also seems to involve letting go of perceptions or thoughts that are no longer of value to you. The 10 of Swords indicates letting go of perceptions and aligns well with both Tiwaz and Tristita in that it may take a strong will to release old paradigms. Perhaps you’ve become stuck there, or it could reflect what you’re using the energy of Tiwaz to stand up to, again, either on behalf of yourself or others.
The King of Wands could indicate someone wise who has provided counsel, or it could indicate taking charge of how you see things and using that inner will, or spiritual warrior within, to see a situation from a higher perspective. Lastly, Temperance may suggest becoming more balanced and grounded as you balance your will (Tiwaz) with emotions (Tristitia).
It takes a higher expression of will to let go of beliefs that are impacting your life in a negative way. If you’re involved in something where you feel you’re being oppressed in some way, if you don’t let go of beliefs that keep you from standing up for yourself, you may feel unworthy in some way. Tiwaz asks you to stand up anyway and sacrifice your fears in service to a higher truth. Whether this applies to something personal for you, or it applies to a collective experience where you are the one who stands up for the rights of self and others, letting go of extremes and seeing things in a balanced and rational way is warranted.
