The reading notes for today’s reading are below. You’re welcome to watch the video here.
- Significator runes: Perthro (14th rune, fate, chance, healing, cause/effect, childbirth, womb, synchronicity) and Puer (scattered boy energy, unstable, impulsive, risk-oriented, aggressive)
- Cards: The Empress, 5 of Wands, 6 of Cups, and a 4th card: Temperance
- Patterns: two cards from the Major Arcana providing overall guidance aligning with Perthro
- Overall numerology: 14+3+5+6=28; 2+8=10; 1+0=1 (new beginnings, talent, leadership, the self); with the additional card, 28+14=42; 4+2=6 (empathy, compassion, guidance, shared path)

Summation
Who controls your fate (Perthro) and the impact of impulsivity (Puer) in your life begins today’s reading. Will higher awareness exert that control or will the ego lead you astray and into a place of little control?
The initial overall numerology of one suggests a new beginning, but when I pulled a fourth card, the numerology of the reading changed to six, or compassion, empathy, guidance, and shared path or experience.
Initially, I drew The Empress, 5 of Wands, and the 6 of Cups. Taken together, the cards are talking about what we manifest with Perthro aligning well with The Empress and the 5 of Wands aligning well with Puer. After drawing Temperance, the angel pouring water from one chalice to the other seems to reinforce the counsel of tempering or balancing will (Fire element) with emotion (Water element), in other words, your tendency toward impulsivity and the new beginning or change that can result when containing that type of response.
Essentially, will you manifest something today that takes away your ultimate control, or will you manifest something that’s based on empathy and compassion for yourself and others? Grounding yourself in compassion, for yourself and others, allows you to have more control over your fate than a lack of impulse control with provide.
