SUMMATION
Laguz and Caput Draconis begin today’s reading suggesting intuition will be valuable in moving forward in a new direction. Integration, creativity, and optimism are part of the pattern of 3s in reading, but integration in a manner that may not be collaborative.
Today’s cards include the 3 of Swords, 5 of Wands, and 3 of Wands. Two 3 cards bookend the 5 which is interesting because of the three influence throughout the reading. However, beginning with the 3 of Swords, we see three swords piercing a large red heart with rain pouring down behind it. Typically the 3 of Swords is read as betrayal or possibly undermining you in some way. This can involve a love triangle or a situation where others are undermining you, and with the presence of the 3 of Wands which describes a merchant who is waiting for his choice of opportunity (made in the 2 of Wands) to manifest, the 3 of Swords could involve a situation at work.
The 5 of Wands illustrates five young men, each one with a staff, appearing to clash with each other. While no one is getting hurt, the five suggests the dynamic is changing and no one is really hearing the others. They could be expressing their ideas or creative solutions, but again, considering the betrayal or undermining in the 3 of Swords, you could be realizing that your ideas aren’t going to be heard, and now, in the 3 of Wands, you set out on your own to see your ideas and solutions manifest in a new opportunity.
Essentially, you may have realized that you can no longer trust the integration you shared with others, and you trust your intuition or higher awareness to guide you to set a different course for yourself, described by Caput Draconis, either with a new job or perhaps by establishing a new business for yourself. Although the initial betrayal may be upsetting, in reality, it acts as a catalyst for something new in your life.
