Today’s reading can be read in a couple of ways; however, both interpretations involve your future. One interpretation centers on letting go of sadness or feeling stuck in egoic perceptions that are holding you back from realizing what you have in skillset and resources, and the other involves what the current government is doing to harm you and keep you from protecting what you’ve built, either as a business owner or as an employee.
The 4 of Pentacles can either represent the resources you’ve acquired (education, money, etc.) or an authoritarian power with an ulterior motive that wishes to hoard all the resources for himself. Either way, today’s reading suggests you need to step outside your comfort zone and make a decision that impacts a future direction. The Sun card from the Major Arcana aligns very well with today’s rune, Sowilo, in terms of awakening to and building a new and successful future. But again, in order for you to do that, you have to let go of the fear and doubt suggested by Tristitia and act with intention to make that happen.
