Our Journey of Self ~ Tarot for 17 Dec 2016

Today’s reading begins with The Fool’s journey. He’s carefree, his possessions over his shoulder, feathers in his cap, his dog at his side. Both are eager to begin their journey, ready to step off the cliff and embrace new experiences. He trusts in his own process, committed and unafraid.

The Magician, considered card number 1 of the Major Arcana, stands in front of a large dolman looking upward, his wand raised high with his other hand pointing downward. Whereas the Fool embodies both masculine and feminine characteristics, the Magician splits into the masculine presence with the High Priestess balancing as feminine. The Magician visualizes what he wants and then acts upon that intention. All Elemental energies are placed in front with his sword, pentacle, wand, and chalice placed before him on the altar. Feathers adorn as his cape representing raven knowledge. The Magician aligns with his Source Presence, manifesting as above, so below.

Balance and harmony are reflected in the six. The 6 of Pentacles depicts generosity and kindness shown to others. The robed man sits against a tree, pentacles hanging in balance from its branches. Snow covers the ground and his white beard indicates he’s sharing a legacy gained over a lifetime well-lived. In sharing, he allows for reciprocity, a gift in an of itself. The six pentacles also suggest fair distribution of wealth.

The numerology is 7 or divinity. It also represents our intuition and the shadow or egoic side of self. 7 suggests a balance, a scales effect in a sense with three on each side with one in the middle. Both the witch and the Magician are felt with the number seven, elemental magic and alchemy resonating.

The tarot represents the journey of Self in form. It can represent an entire lifetime, or the channels we create with others. The Fool begins the journey of Self in joy. He has no idea what the world has to offer and is eager to begin. The Magician tells the Fool to continue to manifest his world in alignment with his Source Presence, with the wisdom gained from the 6 of Pentacles encouraging his generosity toward others.

The challenge any of us faces while in physical form is to remember that we’re not the bodies we inhabit. We are Source Energy, both collectively and individually. The world around us, including our bodies, is created by our collective Source Presence. Over time, most forget their nonphysical aspect of Self, believing the separation they experience as the only reality. They may acknowledge the possibility that God exists and that they’ll return to Him at the moment of their death, never realizing that there is no separate God and that it’s not possible to return to something that’s never left us in the first place.

All there is is Source Energy. When aligned in that Presence, we feel one with all. When not, we fully experience the chaos of a separated existence and all the potential challenges that creates. We see the other instead of family. We experience the duality of separation instead of simply the duality between physical and nonphysical aspects of Self. Unity with others falls by the wayside as life becomes about us verses them.

We’re here to experience life in a world that has so much to offer and instead we spend it at odds with each other. We can achieve anything when united as one family. Instead we look away from another’s pain. It’s never been about the me of things, but the us of things, but many seem to have forgotten that.

We need to understand this one simple truth: a journey of Self is a journey to All That Is. It’s a journey back to our unified Source Presence, away from the ego, away from dis-unified thought. Without that, we go nowhere except to experience more of the same drama that has compromised us thus far.

We must be mindful of our focus. If we place our focus on machinations by dark forces then we only intensify its effect. Better to place our collective intention on creating the world we wish to see, one filled with love and harmony. Choose that higher vibration and see all through Higher Self vision. Let that foster and inspire our journey.

We all play a part in what’s occurring. Dark forces are revealing their hand, in fear of the shift in consciousness the rest are experiencing. Lower vibration pulls us under, while in higher vibration we soar in loving Source Presence.

Dark forces are temporary. Our One Family is eternal.
