Somewhat Daily Tarot and Rune for 9 Oct 2018
As you might know, Stepping Aside has a YouTube channel where I do a rune and tarot reading four days per week, typically Monday through Thursday. But it occurred to me that although I post the videos in the column to the left of the posts, I thought it might be useful to include at least the gist of the reading here on the blog. At least I can show the card(s) and the rune(s) that I draw for that day and the general interpretation.
So, here we go.
Today’s card was the 2 of Wands where we see a man looking out over an expanse through a doorway of sorts comprised by two staffs (wands). Our will is active today, but this card is suggesting that we wait and allow new experiences to come our way in lieu of initiating them.
Ehwaz is the rune today suggesting emotional integration with self and others. Something that occurs to me now that I didn’t mention during the video…perhaps allow intuition to inform the process as well as the will today…
As the 19th rune of the Elder Futhark, Ehwaz is in synchronicity with today’s numerology of 19 which when reduced to 1 signifies new beginnings which also aligns well with the 2 of Wands. Clearly, we’re thinking about a new direction of some kind and we’re exploring or are about to explore new possibilities in our life. However, like the man holding the globe, for the best outcome. we’re cautioned to wait for inspiration, for something to come our way instead of generating it on our own. With will and emotions in balance, our intuition is free to inform the process.
Blessings!
