Realize That It’s Over

I was watching the news before my husband I left for our walk this morning and heard President Macron define the difference between patriotism and nationalism. For some reason, the current occupant of the White House confessed to supporters prior to the election at one of his incendiary rallies that he’s a nationalist. He avoided the word white but it was implied nevertheless. It was red meat for his supporters and the crowd went wild at his proclamation. Because, that’s exactly what it was, a proclamation of racism and white nationalism.

The flirty look Putin gave him while shaking his hand as world leaders stood together in Paris was interesting. The current White House occupant could not be bothered to attend the ceremony at the cemetery honoring those who gave their lives for something greater than themselves, or to apparently attend last evening’s dinner, or if he did it was long after it began.

So was this trip only to meet with his friend, Vlad? Can’t they Skype for that? Why did he spend taxpayer dollars on such a trip if he couldn’t even bring himself to attend the event at the cemetery, citing rain? Soldiers in WWI didn’t seem to complain about any rain while they were dying on the battlefield. Or any other weather for that matter, but he couldn’t make the trip.

Where is this man’s integrity let alone dignity? Has he no conception of what the office he regrettably holds is even about? Does he not understand that all eyes are on him and that everything he now does is suspect?

Because at some point the Office of the Special Counsel will deliver its report and the picture will become clear. We will know what happened and whether or not we’ll be needing a new occupant in the White House. Needless to say, if even a smidgen of what’s been written about in all the books that have been published on this man is true, he could conceivably spend whatever is left of his life in court and/or prison.

The election results need to be counted. All of them. That the Republicans don’t want that to continue tells us everything we need to know. It’s pathetic, really, to see them act this way. If any of them could actually win an election based on qualifications and good policy, they’d have no reason to stack the deck in their favor. They would not dream of interfering in the voting process because they would know that their integrity and honor and their plan for the future was sound enough to consider in an election. And then, if the other person won, then it would be the will of the people that won out.

Because it’s about the people, not the individual candidate. Candidates who win might represent us, but that is all they do. They’re not supposed to circumvent the will of the people who voted for them. They can be replaced which many found out the other day when not only were they replaced, but they were replaced by women! Lots and lots of women! We have over one hundred female members of Congress and we’re only getting started.

The men in our government need to realize that their time is over. If they cannot come together in unity with women and understand that misogyny has no place in our world, then they need to step aside and let someone with more intelligence take their place.

The midterms signaled an end to the status quo. Those that believed that their guy accomplished that were deceiving themselves. It was a calculated illusion that he expected everyone to believe in. But here’s the thing about illusion. It’s unsustainable. And he needs to realize that it’s over.

I suggested during one of last week’s Somewhat Daily Tarot and Rune readings over on the YouTube channel that the endless chanting at the rallies he still holds is to keep a glamour going. It’s a type of magickal working that disturbs the vision of others so that they believe something else than what’s real. The chanting itself is a type of mind control or brainwashing whereby supporters are kept in line by endless repetitive phrases. They wait for them now, cheering when their savior encourages their vitriol.

The lock her up chant was even heard outside a polling place in either Florida or Georgia, I believe, the crowd angry and not letting up. They were allegedly targeting the supervisor with calls for her arrest, all because there were votes that still needed counting.

This is what the white nationalist in the White House has incited. Calls for arrest, removal of press passes, inciting hate and division are only the beginning. Now that the truth is coming out about him, he’ll be unable to keep his charade going. And it’s going to get uglier and uglier until he’s gone.

Even Putin realizes it’s over. But if he thinks the United States of America is over, he’s got another thing coming.
