Lunar Transits for 13 Dec 2018
The Moon transits into Pisces at 4:40 AM PST on Thursday, 13 December 2018 in its crescent phase bringing an assertive influence to the next lunar period. We are ready for challenges and to let go of what no longer serves. Spend time in creative pursuits including those of a spiritual nature and above all, listen to your inner voice.
Our emotions will be in play during this lunar period and it may be best to retreat to find inner balance if we find it difficult to remain in control. Setting boundaries with self and others are important now.
With the Moon in the 4th House, our focus will be on foundational concerns, home and family in particular. But with the Moon in a square aspect between itself and Mercury, we may want to stay as neutral as possible in our interactions with others lest our emotions may overshadow reason. A sextile with Uranus suggests flexibility may be in order,
Looking at the chart balances, we see that Fire and Water energies are the primary influences so we may experience a battle between will and emotions during this lunar period. Again, remaining neutral in our response will likely be necessary. With Earth and Air as weak influences, as well as with the emotional influence of Pisces, we may experience difficulty coping and our focus and objectivity may be affected. And with Mutable energies strongest at this time, we may also procrastinate.
The 13th and 14th are favored days for magickal workings, so over the next period workings that align and center are favored. The Moon’s Mansion moves from the 26th to the 27th during this period, so workings for health and unity can also be performed as well as increased harvest or income or if you simply want to cause some mischief.
I’m still working out the format of the lunar transits chart. I like an esoteric look at influences, but I may not be finished with the chart’s appearance. It’s nice that Solar Fire allows me to create my own, so there may be one more version before I’m happy with it. I’ll be doing the same with the geomancy chart. The included samples never suit my overall needs so I like to create my own.
