Lunar Transits for 15 Dec 2018
The Moon moves into Aries today at 4:45 PM PST with an emphasis on beginning new projects or seeking opportunities for career advancement. An independent and ambitious nature will keep you focused and in the 10th House of career and position, this energetic Moon provides the impetus for diligent action. Elemental Fire representing our will is the strongest elemental influence with Water (emotions) a close second suggesting that we’ll want to keep our will and emotions in balance for this lunar period.
The Moon conjunct Chiron suggests a caring person with a focus on others but with Aries influencing, the need to nurture oneself is favored during this lunar period, particularly if we’re focused on something new. Aries energy is strong and an individual such as this has endless energy to focus on the task or tasks at hand, especially if it benefits someone else. And it’s not uncommon for an Aries individual to have multiple projects going simultaneously. So, while our Moon is in Aries, take some time for nurturing yourself for the next couple of days. Meditate, take a walk, or just sit quietly, but take the time to replenish mind, body, and Spirit.
The Moon is in a trine aspect with both Mercury and its North Node fostering easy communication with others along with reminding us to listen to our inner voice and to follow our heart. The
Use the 1st Quarter Moon to work magicks of increase and to draw something to you such as money, success, friendship, or lost items. Also in the 1st Lunar Mansion of Alnath, and reinforced by the catalytic energy of Aries, magickal workings to create conflict are possible as well as those that promote safe travel.
Overall, this may be a time to reinvent ourselves. Catalytic energy is present for us to focus on new opportunities, but we should also take some time for self-care. Energetic focus takes its toll when we don’t step back and allow for inner stillness to inform the process. Know that a successful outcome is supported by this type of balanced approach.
Although the Aries influence often results in an independent streak, remember that working with others is favored during this lunar period. So, enjoy the opportunity found in a shared experience with others.
